okay. We know that the Imps hate him, and that they basically enjoy being able to bully someone who was once above them.

But what about the nobility? Let's try to take Via's birthday party as an example. I personally feel that when Stolas comes there, everyone will laugh in his face and bully him. Because he lost everything, also because he's in love with an imp (maybe they're in love with some of them too, but why would they admit it) and that the only one who will talk to him normally will be Vassago. And honestly? I doubt that there's a chance that they'll leave it at that. Stella and Andy will definitely do everything they can to make his life miserable, so they'll start insulting him in front of everyone, and the rest will join in. And as I mentioned, Vassago will be the only one who will stand up for him.

I'm deliberately not mentioning Via because it's still unclear how she'll behave. That depends on whether she forgives Stolas by then or not.

Stolas is exactly the kind of character you want to torture and protect like a little baby at the same time.

At first you just want to tie him up and torture him in various ways, but then you want to take care of him and protect him.
