Stop at end of song
For the life of me cannot figure out how to make it stop at the end of the song? Am using only audio tracks, and it just keeps going once the song or clip is done. Any advice appreciated!

Sorry for being late to the party. It's been a month since the 8.1 release, but I haven't opened SP in a while. I was working on a project as usual, but suddenly realized that my AutoHotkey script wasn't running. Then I checked the changelog and saw this. I can finally use SP without a background script now.

Hello everyone. I have tried to figure this out myself but have never really quite been able to get it. The effect can be heard on the 3rd repeat of the hook between :30-:33secs in. I’ve heard this on a handful of records throughout the years but have nvr been able to find a name or process for it. My best guess is it’s something that can be achieved using a multi-tap delay.
Studio One 6 Pro user. Had the free VU meters since forever. Now they don’t show up and I can’t figure out how to get them back. I’ve not done the fender account (don’t really care to, to be honest) so I’m hoping I can get them to come back without doing all that. They aren’t showing in any of my VST plugin folders. It’s like they just vanished.
Appreciate the help.
I have a few vocal tracks, synth tracks etc. should all the vocal fader tracks be set to 0 or what’s the consensus?
How do you guys get done with your post mastering stem export process? I need to use some backing tracks for my live set and I need to export those stems (mostly busses) with my master chain baked in. The only way I've found as of now is to manually solo the buss i need and export mixdown method. Is there a better way to do this?
Hi! So I purchased a PreSonus Audiobox (USB 96) 25th Anniversary Edition as my first Audiobox back in 2022. I made a profile, I downloaded Studio One, set it up with a microphone and it's recording and working perfectly — but my AKAI MPK mini MIDI keyboard just won't work. I've checked, my Lenovo laptop recognizes it, a friend's laptop recognizes it, it works perfectly with Ableton Live Lite, so it's probably not the keyboard or the cable. I've watched like four different tutorials, and this is where my MIDI fails: when I go into External devices > Add > AKAI > MPKmini, there is no drop-down menu at Receive From. It just says None and that's all. I've plugged it out, in, rebooted, closed every window, but nothing works. I even tried to log it in as a New Keyboard, but still no drop-down.
I would really really appreciate some help. I've been trying to make music for so long and I'm desperate. Thanks so much in advance! 🙏🙏

I recorded a group of musicians and their timing is off on some notes, lead guitar and piano. I’ve come a long way since I started studio one but just cannot wrap my head around this. 6 notes are at the wrong time (3 on piano and on guitar).
They are the correct notes just a tiny bit too soon or too late.
Can anyone please help? I can send the recording. Re-recording is not possible at it was for a going away event and I’d like to keep the original musicians. The song will be matching a video so it will mean a lot.
Please and thanks!
Senario: Your recording vocals, and acoustic guitar. You want to record both at the same time. Of these, which mics are you recording with, and which instrument are they recording?
-The mics you can choose from:
-TLM-103 Neumann (condenser)
-Shure KSM9(condenser w/great noise rejection)
-Shure SM58(dynamic)
-Shure Beta 58a(dynamic)
-Shure SM57(dynamic)
-Shure MV7X(dynamic)
-Sterling Audio s30(class A FET)
-Senheiser MD 504(compact dynamic)
Using a studio one(pro), with a Studiolive SE16 series iii mixer. So you can technically use as many mics as you want as far as inputs. For the record, yes this is my actual real life senario, and being somewhat new to actually recording, and having so many options, I struggle with being indecisive. Curious to see others ideas/opinions. Thanks in advanced!
Hi,
Is it possible to copy a complete track with its VST instrument and settings from one project into another? Background is that the sound of this track became ugly for whatever reason. I didn't touch this track or its settings at all, but it suddenly sounds crappy.
Thanks.
Hi all- Just got Fender Studio Pro. Apologies if this has been asked-
Can it be used with multiple monitors? (I am used to having the Console on its own screen).
Thanks for any answers/ ideas.
I got an Audiobox USB brand new but I'm stuck with a hiss and even at max gain, the sound of my instrument is still pretty low. Phantom power was on, drivers were updated to the latest version.
I did notice that when trying on another computer the hiss sounds different, but about as loud. I also can hear the hiss when plugging headphones directly on the Audiobox
Where do I go from here?
This is worth a watch. Louis Rossmann is a well known electronics technician, consumer rights activist, and YouTuber. He is one of the most prominent figures advocating for the Right to Repair movement, and has been calling out bad business practices for many years.
My tune. I admit, I have a lot of VSTs running. Intel i7 with 32GB RAM. CPU is sitting at 40% even before I play back the song.
What is the first place to start?
Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a side project for a few months. It started as a simple .song file inspector and slowly turned into something much bigger. I figured it was finally time to share it with the community!
It's called Studio One Project Hub. It is a fully desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux) that reads your .song files directly. It lets you analyze, visualize, and maintain your projects without even opening Studio One.
🚀 GitHub (Free & Open Source): https://github.com/anthogoz/Studio-One-Project-Hub
🔒 Privacy First: Everything runs 100% locally. No accounts, no telemetry, no network requests. Your project files never leave your machine.
📺 Video Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRXArLFj6WM
⚠️ IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
This is an early beta. It has never been tested on anyone else's machine until now, so there will definitely be crashes, broken layouts, or edge cases I haven't thought of.
Safe practices: The tools that write back to your project files (media relinker, plugin doctor) automatically create timestamped backups. However, I strongly recommend working on a copy of your project folder at first. Just duplicate your project folder, point the app to it, and enjoy zero risk!
If something breaks, please open a GitHub issue with your Studio One version and what you were doing. That is the best way to help!
🔥 WHAT IT CAN DO
.song file snapshots, shows diffs between versions (tracks added/removed, plugin changes), and lets you compare two saves side-by-side..song ZIP (with backup). Perfect if you moved your sample folders..soundvariation files. It also imports Cubase .expressionmap files!.song files down to older major versions (back to S1 v3).📦 DOWNLOAD
Grab the latest version from the Releases page: 🔗 https://github.com/anthogoz/Studio-One-Project-Hub/releases
.exe installer (Windows 10/11 x64).dmg (Unsigned, so you'll need to Right-Click -> Open to bypass Gatekeeper).AppImage (x64)I built this because I was tired of waiting for Studio One to boot up just to check a plugin list or see if a file was missing. Hopefully, some of you find it useful too!
Feedback is highly welcome, and bug reports even more. Let me know what you think!
I’m using S1 for sound design and need to export a bunch of stems at once, but when I attempt to remove the prefix parameter (setting it to be blank) it just repopulates with the file name.
This isn’t the end of the world since all my stems need to have a prefix anyways, but S1 formats with a hyphen after the prefix, which partially makes that field redundant!
How can I completely remove the prefix and hyphen for stem exports?
Hello,
I would like setup multiple tracks with their own FX chain and switch between them sending MIDI CC messages with a footswitch. Can Studio One do that, if so how? I've tried asking to AI agents but didn't get a real good answer.
Thanks
Hi All,
I’m using S1 5 Pro on Win 10. My interface is a Focusrite Scarlette 18i20 (4th gen) and i use an OctoPre as an expander. I’m also using a Presonus HP 60 headphone amp.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to route the click in S1 or a separate track. I’ve seen videos on this and people say it can be done but no one actually explains how. The nearest I’ve come is to render the click to a mono track and then send to a bus, but I still cannot create separate outs for that bus.
Ideally, I’d like to have the click independent from the main mix so I can blend it into the headphone mix. Right now, I cannot even create a q mix for the click.
Can anyone offer some suggestions?
Many thanks in advance!
