I saw Miles open up for 49 Winchester on Friday and Saturday at The Caverns in Pelham, TN. Both sets were groovy as hell, with “Get Busy” and “Stormy” as definite highlights. I picked up a t-shirt from him after the show, and he was a super nice dude. Check out his music and go see him when he’s around!

I didn’t think that one simple preorder would turn into this mess. Preordered the orange vinyl and a cd for the car. Decided I should probably get a turntable. Didn’t want to get basic gear. Ended up purchasing an AT-LP120XBT $500 after tax. Connected to my Sonos play 5 and it sounded like garbage. Started shopping for speakers and decided to go with a pair of Klipsch the nines $1200 after tax and extended warranty. Nice, sounds great. Should probably get some proper speaker stands $220. Well, this is a big room, should probably get a sub. Ended up with a Klipsch SPL-120 $500. Sounds great, I just didn’t foresee spending $2400+ to enjoy my simple orange preorder. Blind or naive?
