Hello my moms supervisa application was recently refused said she has more ties in Canada than back home and also insufficient funds.
Applications shows she was to stay for a year and go back
My dads was granted
Funds in moms account $4500
Anyone with similar experience to advise or how to address this and re-apply
My letter is about 13 pages I have it broken down as seen below. Is that too much? Should I do a clean 1-2 page letter and add a Letter of Explanation with the details? Thanks
Hey everyone. My wife whom I sponsored to canada tried applying visitor for her mom to visit newborn. We showed both of my and her tax statements, salary slips, bank accounts statements. Her mom doesn't own any property, or receive any rent but tried showing ties like small income she receives from her small home business. Mom has around 5k cad and we explained we will support her during the visit. Our family income is enough to support 1 person. TRV got rejected due to officer not convinced that she will return and with the reason for travel isnt consistent with what stated in the application.
Now am thinking of applying super visa by myself. My wife doubts that since she is sponsored by me she could not apply super visa for her mom or they will decline it, is it true? She is PR. Any benefit of waiting until she gets citizenship ? Thanks.

No update post that. No medical requested yet. Wanted to check if anyone who submitted their application in 1st week of July or later in July got any further updates or application progressed. In June, it was rapidly moving but somehow recently it has slowed down.

I have applied for my parents super visa application, however after the medical request there's complete silence. No response whatsoever and the medical insurance was supposed to start by October 2026 and so were their plans. Applicants from Saudi Arabia require 91 days as of today according to the IRCC website however there's no response yet.
Is there anyone in the same boat?
Application was applied in April and medicals were completed two months ago. Last update was medical passed that's all.
Hi, earlier this year my parents TRV was not approved (Weak ties) . I am applying now for a super visa for both of them. I am single. Income is far above the LICO. My sibling sent me 40k CAD as a gift to strengthen my application, how do I include that in the invitation letter? My Dad also got a bank statement back home showing 30k CAD, however my mom bank only has 6K CAD. Should i send some money from my siblings transfer to my mom account? To strengthen their application, I am showing proof they have property and a business back home that they oversee. What else would you include in this case? Thanks
Hi all, my mother is visiting us later this month (she has super-visa) and I wanted to check for how long does her medical insurance be?
Should the medical insurance be for one year from the date of entry OR for the period of her stay? She has a return ticket and she’s staying in Canada for 6 months.
