I do Uber eats / Doordash from 3am-8am monday-sunday.
The amount of idiots that run red lights in Surprise is ridiculously high. I see it at least once a morning.
Just watched it happen again on bell and the 303 and they almost caused an accident.
Pay attention people
not sure how popular this was with other residents, but atl was a go to, especially because of their kool aid.
We need an electrician to see if they can add an outlet in our room that’s connected to a different circuit so we can run a portable AC, or change our ceiling fan, or both. Do you have any recommendations of an electrician that is reliable and has reasonable prices (like they won’t charge you $900 for a $300 job just cause)?
Today driving along Bullard & Waddel I saw a happy dude listening to music and dancing. He had on a spiffy sequin jacket and was happy as a clam. Anyways, if anyone knows him - please let him know he is awesome. 👏
Just hoping to help someone else avoid the bait-in-switch service scams going on at Surprise Toyota. SCAMMERS! I do factory service intervals and it is finally time for spark plugs + all fluids on my 4-Runner. Looked all over Surprise Toyota's website, could not find pricing for interval colored packages almost every Toyota dealer has, and I've used for life of both Toyotas I have. (blue_gets x, Gold get x with pricing). You can find this on almost every other Toyota dealership on earth, the internet, AI, etc. So, I call and talk to a "Service Advisor," who says "they don't have it online you have to call." SO, I tell her I need the 100k, she says it's actually the 105 that I want (showing she knows what I am talking about) for spark plugs +all fluids. She says."That package ranges from $220-$269.99 it will probably at that high end for this service." I asked if she was 100% sure on price, she confirmed and I asked to write it out on my reservation so there wasn't any "confusion." Which she does! Asks if could come in earlier for them, sure. I get there at 7am, to still wait for the "Service Advisor" to come out. The first guy says without even a hello, "We don't have this package Sir? " What do you mean you don't have 100K/105 interval packages? "No, we don't have those here and you really need the 90K not the 100K?( I thought you didn't have packages?) "Well, why would every other Toyota Dealer I've taken this car to since 2014 have them and you don't? Why wouldn't your employee on the phone know that information? He tells, me they will have to "quote it?" Quote a Toyota Factory Standard service interval?
So I need to go wait 10-15 minutes, the original Service guy comes out and lays this on me, "This dealership does things different and we don't do packages, we price everything all carte" I respond, "So, you are telling me I've been going to Toyota Dealerships all over the USA to for standard mileage service packages , and you this Dealership doesn't do that? You are saying you price every service separately, so it costs you customer more? Is this correct?" Straight faced, he says "YES." No Apology not hint of shame. I say, "WOW that's a real great policy for your customers, so how much is this package that his supposed to be $269.99 going to cost me? He totals up the quotes to almost $1,200 FOR SPARKPLUGS AND FLUIDS!!!! I'm outta there and he doesn't care.
Tell me Larry Tabloff, GM Surprise Toyota, why would you be so blatant in your trying to defraud customers and scam them? Even if that was your ridiculous pricing for simple maintenance of 2014 car! Just tell people that before they book so they can go somewhere else? Why would you waste people's time to scam them with almost 4x increase in price! Why the hell would you not do the same exact service interval packages as every other Toyotas Dealership? It is an actual Toyota dealership, right? Why would your employee say you had these packages and quote a price,SHE OBVIOUS READ SOMEWHERE? Why does every Toyota Service Department ruin all the goodwill Toyota as brand has built, time and time again? Well, I took my 4-Runner to Grease Monkey on N. Lake Pleasant and had the oil changed for $89.00 and got far superior service from a bunch of high school kids. The spark plugs can wait, it's a 4-Runner. AVOID SERVICE SCAMS AT SURPRISE TOYOTA!

I’ve tried big Buddha, and Chen Wok. Buddha was ALMOST something I like, but I just didn’t like the sauces, and thought some things were a bit overbreaded. Chen Wok was just bad.
So any other suggestions out there? Like if you left and moved to somewhere else in the valley, it’s worth traveling back to surprise for level good.
Are there any good places to practice archery close to or in Surprise?
I don't have a yard big enough for it (also think that might be illegal?) I have my own bow/arrows and even a foam layered block target if there aren't any ranges. The closest I found on Google are Glendale Heroes park and Ben Avery Shooting Range. If that's it, are they good/worth it?
I used to live really close to one that was open in the evenings and loved it as I tend to be available more after sunset. -best of both worlds there. And even if my only option is a spot of desert without night lighting I would rather not drive 30 minutes just to get there.
