Ellie. My sweet muffin dog.
Abandoned when she was pregnant, she escaped the humane society and was on the streets for three weeks in Colorado’s coldest month. Once captured, she delivered six puppies safely. I adopted her after seeing the shelter post her picture saying she was shy and scared and needed a loving home. Not many months after I adopted her, I got very sick and she stayed by my side in bed until I was better. We call her “The Nurse”, because she always stays close when one of us isn’t feeling well. I love seeing her cozy and happy and secure in our home. She’s a good dog.
Cancel plans now or tomorrow?
Migraine has gotten worse throughout the day rather than better. So frustrating! I am new to the area and was planning to meet a gal at the gym tomorrow for an exercise class. Even if I am better, I worry it will make me dizzy. Should I cancel now? Should I try to explain vestibular migraines to her or just say I have a migraine. I hate this.
I hate remodeling-so that’s why I bought a house that needs three bathrooms redone, I guess? One down, two to go.
This guest bathroom was small and seldom used so it was in good condition, but the vanity, mirror and lighting were all 25 years old and the cheapest of the cheap. The original floor was stained concrete. I did a wood look floor tile and a tile accent wall, new vanity, mirror and lighting. The shower is in perfect condition so I left it. The lady at the tile shop suggested hanging a shower curtain on tension rods to hide the non matching hardware and I think I will do that for now.

Experience with cutting nerve?
My ENT and nerve specialist ontology guy both agree that cutting the nerve in my ear is the next step.
I have had a pretty difficult few weeks with vertigo after being relatively stable for a couple of years. I’m reluctant to try the surgery. May be I feel like I’ve read a few posts from people in this group who said it didn’t help them the way that they hoped it would.
If you’ve had the nerve cut, how did it go? How long did it take to see a positive difference, if there has been one?
