Is it right to buy a Nintendo for tomodachi living the dream?

I know a person who never had a Nintendo and theyd like to buy tomodachi living the dream, but many people say it gets repetetive and to not buy it. Really is it good or not? They really like that genres of games but im scared they get bored by it fast and forget about the game and console and pretty much waste money (im talking abt me its just to not get this post down)

Mario kart world or Pokopia

So im probably gonna buy a Nintendo Switch 2 soon and I've been wondering if I should take the model with Mario Kart world included or the model with Pokemon Pokopia included

Which one would be better in your opinion.

So I got this recently and I keep seeing people ask "What game should I choose". I'd like to break down some Pro's and Con's for yall.

Okay so I would like to start this out by saying there is genuinely no wrong answer. All of these are premium Switch 2 titles. They will all give you some joy to sit down and play. Especially if you are already a fan of the franchise.

However, there are some key things to pay attention to when choosing here and I'll just break them down.

  1. On the Switch 2, not all games are equal. What do I mean by this? Some games have a physical cartridge tied to them while others do not. Even when purchasing them as a physical copy in the stores you are getting a box with a way to download them digitally using a GameKeyCard. Games like Pokopia operate this way. No matter if you buy physical or digital you will be digitally downloading all of it. Versus games like Bananza and Mario Kart have physical cartridges. Buying DK Bananza physically will save your console around 8GB of memory! Mario Kart World physically will save your console about 24GB!!!!!! That's an entire whole other game.

  2. With Switch 2 raising the cost of its games you also want to be mindful of how much they retail for normally. Pokopia and DK Bananza retail at $70. Mario Kart retails at $80.

  3. We just had a Nintendo Direct recently. I would like to point out that Pokopia just got a major DLC announcement. A full fledged new story and zone (Cerulean City). DK Bananza is getting some soft cross over content. Mario Kart world had no announcements.

So what did I go with? I personally went with Pokopia. Why? I eventually would like to own all 3 of these titles. That makes the memory alone worth saving in my eyes. I also just couldn't help but to see a DLC directly in my face as I am buying the console. I know I will have continued content to consume even after enjoying a great base game in Pokopia.

Mario Kart probably would have been my 2nd choice just simply because it's $10 more and I do like some Mario Kart. However that -24GB hurts my soul to even think about lol

And DK Bananza while being the last option seems to be an amazing game as well. Watching gameplay it looked fun if you ever wanted to listen to Break Stuff - Limb Bizkit on repeat and vibe. You also will only get a -8 on the GB instead of a massive -24.

Again I really see no wrong decisions being made. I just want to inform people who really care a little more deeply about the pros and cons of all the choices. I choose to not go into personal opinions and only focus on actual facts here.

For the people who just bought one or who are thinking about getting one. Hopefully this helps you guys out a little. It took me a few hours to pick myself lol 😆

Most fun classic-style Mario games on Switch 2!

Looking for side scrolling, hopping on top of enemies, warp pipes, etc.! Is Mario Bros Wonder good? I did like Odyssey!

I also like the Yoshi's Island games! How is Mysterious Book?

Any game recommendations for me on Nintendo switch under 16 smacaroos?

I've only got 17 dollars to my name at this moment and I want another game but everything is uninteresting to besides my wishlisted games or hell even Minecraft games or add ons

Huge fan of horror, stuff like Home Safety hotline, killer frequency, kiosk, fears to fathom stuff like that, I like that style of game play, anomalies and crap, but also hate story heavy set and done games.

I like sandbox games too, I just prefer horror but I know there's no wiggle room with that.

I also fucking LOVE subnotica, I just can't spell for anything

Which games should you absolutely play?

I'm getting a Switch 2 by tomorrow and I was wondering, what are the must-play Switch 1 & 2 games? I was thinking of starting with Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Only Switch and Switch 2 exclusives, since I also have a PC.

Thank you and have a great day.

Deciding on Nintendo Switch 2 Games to Purchase

Recently bought a switch2. Very much in the mood to play some exclusives on it. Always been interested in pokemon but never played a game from start to finish. Admitedly gave lets go pikachu a try and wasn't as into it as I wanted to be. But I've been playing some pokemon go lately and I really want to give another pokemon game a try.

So my first question is, which one do I go for? I see several options. I think sword&shield and scarlet&violet are mainline games while there are also 2 pokemon legends games, is that right? Out of the 4 which one would you recommend to someone who wants to be hooked immediately?

Also I have my eye out on Pokopia. I think it looks very cute and cozy. Is it something I can play for an hour every day like ACNH? I would be down for that too. What's the general consensus though, does it have a dedicated community, or do people often get their taste and decide its enough and move on from it quickly?

Finally I'm morbidly curious about Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm a big jrpg person but never played those games. Hell, I bought the system just for future fire emblem games.

I have the budget for 2 games. Help me decide please.
