Nintendo Switch Logo jumps side to side

Original Nintendo Switch I picked up with a broken USB C port. I've replaced the USB C port and now the console has an issue where booting, it displays logo and it jumps side to side then turns off.

Any ideas? 💡

Switch lite help.

Hey all. I'm working on a switch lite and I could honestly use some help. I have no idea what the issue with it is. But the listing I bought it from said it doesn't turn on after falling. The console does get warm when plugged in to charge and left for hours, and it cools overnight, so l know it's not completely dead. Upon opening it up, I found the power and volume ribbon cable was broken. So l replaced that. But it still doesn't seem to be powering on and there's nothing I can see stopping it from powering on. Can anyone help me please? It's my first time fixing a switch lite. It'd be much appreciated!

Reddit convinced me to DIY internal battery replacement. Now one of the screws is stripped and I'm at my wits end

Asked a local subreddit for recs on places to get my switch's internal battery replaced, but got talked into repairing it myself w a kit from iFixIt. I have zero experience with this type of stuff and I have essential tremors in my hands, but thought I may as well try.

Can't even get past step one because several screws on the side are completely stuck, despite having all the right tools and screwdriver. One in particular is preventing the back panel from coming off, and eventually became stripped. Tried the rubber band method, didn't work at all.

Hoping someone has advice to fix this before I drop even more money to bring this in for a repair. I'm nervous of using a dremmel due to aforementioned essential tremors

How bad is this?

Can I repair it myself? Any tutorials out there?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Edit: FIXED! Thank you all for the replies. I was able to open the joycon and reconnect the cables and it seems to work fine. Special thanks to u/johnnyrey55 for the help via chat. Much appreciated!

Is this repairable?

Hello guys,

I recently purchased my first faulty ns lite to start learning console repair.

I found the left pad FPC connector + ribbon cable to be in bad shape so I bought the components, they arrived today and started disassembling the mb when I noted that the chip+ram metal thingy was a little loose and I saw the image attached. Is this fixable? Can it be replaced or am I cooked?

Thanks in advance
