TRT, where do I even start? 😞

Hello. Need some advice please. I’m weeks away from turning 50 and I’ve been thinking more seriously about TRT lately because I’ve been dealing with a lot of the classic low testosterone symptoms for a while now: low energy, lower libido, brain fog, less motivation, slower recovery from workouts, feeling more run down in general, just not feeling like myself anymore. I do get morning wood from time to time, but it has been more difficult to get and maintain erections when I’m intimate with my wife. I know some of this can happen with age, stress, life, etc., but I’m starting to wonder if low T is part of the problem. I’m planning on getting bloodwork done soon with a new primary care physician (I haven’t met him yet), but I’m also trying to figure out what my options are if my primary care doctor or even a urologist/endocrinologist doesn’t really want to treat it or just brushes it off because my numbers are “borderline.” For those of you who’ve already gone through this process, where did you end up having the best luck getting treatment? Did you go through a regular doctor, a men’s clinic, or one of the online TRT clinics? Also, if anyone has recommendations for online clinics that are actually reputable and reasonably affordable, I’d appreciate it because there are so many out there and it’s hard to tell what’s legit and what’s just marketing. I live in a big city in the Midwest if that matters at all. Just looking for advice, experiences, or things you wish you knew before starting. Sorry, one last question, if any of you have experience with the online TRT clinics, are any of them covered under insurance? Thanks all!

Anyone have experience taking TRT, HCG and Kisspeptin together?

Libido and erection has always been shit since before trt even after bloodwork is perfect, E2 has always been great, prolactin etc. It’s even worse now on Retatrutide.

has anyone taking the stack, kisspeptin works more on downstream hormones where HCG works more on the testes.

Any advice is appreciated

Cautionary Tale: How a "Small" dose of Boldenone nearly ended me (Bloodwork inside)

Hi Family,

I've been officially on TRT since Oct 2025. My protocol was 250mg Test E and 200mg Mast E a week (divided into 2 pins). I stayed stable and felt great from Oct 2025 until April 2026. Then the greed kicked in. I wanted to try Primo, couldn't find it, and was suggested Boldenone. It was one of the worst decisions I’ve made.

I replaced the Mast E with 200mg Boldenone a week alongside 250mg Test E. Within two weeks, my blood pressure redlined. I ignored it for two weeks thinking it would "settle," which was incredibly stupid. I ended up in the Emergency Department with a suspected cardiac event.

Looking back, I was also making a lot of mistakes outside of the compounds: I wasn’t sleeping enough, I was overtraining due to stress, and I likely stayed dehydrated during those 7 intensive months from October to May.

I’ve dropped everything except 100mg Test E a week and I'm now on Telmisartan 40mg daily for BP. I learned the hard way that "light" cycles don't exist if your organs aren't cooperating.

My Latest Bloods (May 2026):

 • Heart Stress (Troponin I): My levels hit 53 ng/L (Reference is < 26). This indicates significant heart muscle stress from the BP spike.
 • Blood Pressure: Peaked at 165/120. This is hypertensive crisis territory.
 • Kidney Strain (eGFR): Dropped to 82 (Normal is > 90).
 • Liver Stress (ALT): Shot up to 74 U/L (Normal is < 40).
 • Thick Blood (RBC/HCT): Red Cell Count hit 6.25. With my Thalassaemia (genetic anaemia), this made my blood like sludge.
 • Platelets: Dropped to 133 x10^9/L (Low).

The Complications:

 • Blood Donation: I have donated once, but because of my condition, I don’t think I can do it more than once every 3–4 months without causing other issues.
 • Aspirin: Standard advice to thin the blood often includes Aspirin, but that is not good for my Thalassaemia.

My questions for the experienced guys:

 1. How do bodybuilders on high doses of Test/Boldenone handle the blood pressure? Is everyone just blasting BP medication (Telmisartan/Nebivolol), or are there other ways people handle the "sludge" blood?
 2. Blood Condition Balance: Besides hydration and BP meds, what other supplements or meds help keep the blood markers in check without adding more heavy compounds? (I currently have NAC, Milk Thistle, Ubiquinol, and Activated Folate).
 3. Recovery: For those who hit a Troponin of 50+, how long did it take for your heart markers to normalize once you dropped to a cruise?
 4. Thalassaemia: Has anyone with this genetic condition managed to stay on TRT successfully without their RBC spiraling?

Don't be greedy, boys. If you're in your 40s, your margin for error is zero. Watch your BP every single day.

Will testosterone potentially make me infertile?

Im highly considering starting testosterone. I am 23 male going to the gym for around 5 years. I want to start some test but my main concern is becoming permanently infertile.

Will a pct recover me (in due time) if when i would be ready to have kids?

TRT vor Beginn & Nachkontrolle nach 7,5 Wochen – eure Meinungen?

Ausgangswerte:

Gesamttestosteron: 11,3 nmol/l

Freies Testosteron: 82 pg/ml

LH: 9,1 IU/l

FSH: 5,1 IU/l

Östrogen / Estradiol: 5 pg/ml

SHBG: 22,4 nmol/l

ALAT: 55 U/l

ASAT: 191 U/l

Gesamtcholesterin: 227 mg/dl

LDL: 125 mg/dl

HDL: 65 mg/dl

LDL/HDL Verhältnis: 1,9

Triglyceride: 143 mg/dl

First 4 month labs after starting TRT

First time poster, long time reader.

Context
37yo male
Sep 2025 I was 305lbs, felt like garbage, looked like garbage. Probably around 40-50% fat. Low energy, low drive, decent erections but struggled sometimes.

Started Tirzepatide. Worked out 4-6 days a week. Got my diet right, mind right. Wife got involved too. As of April 2026 240lbs and I’m guessing 20-25% body fat,

Jan 2026 did labs to check testosterone because while I was feeling better still had other issues that seemed like maybe Testosterone related (hard to lose fat, gain muscle, weiner still, energy)

Did labs and found that while not basement low, still low.

No insurance. Doc won’t prescribe. Went online, started Test Cyp at 200mg/week two shots (Sat/Wed). Within a few weeks gym went amazing, energy better, Libido and erections best ever. I feel like a new man.

Follow-up labs at 4 months show this. I’ve got no E2 side effects (no water retention, nipples are fine). I’ve read that non super specific testing can over exaggerate by 1.5-2x what E2 actually is.

Blood looks great but I hydrate a lot which helps. Anything yall would recommend? Like I said I feel amazing and not sure I want to change anything but I also don’t want to nuke myself before I hit 40 lol

Do I need to back off a bit? Any issues with running hot for a few more months?

Thanks!

BTW like it says above. No insurance, no doc will deal with it. So I’m on my own. I’ve got a medical doctorate but not an MD so medical stuff doesn’t scare me and I’m not an idiot lol. Don’t ask my wife.

Borderline Low Testosterone After Years of Burnout — Has TRT Actually Helped Anyone Recover?

I’m nearing 30 and honestly feel completely burned out after 2+ years of chronic stress and overwork.
Over time I’ve developed pretty much every symptom you can imagine:
zero libido

- chronic fatigue / no energy
- depression-like symptoms
- anxiety
- personality changes / emotional flatness
- brain fog
- loss of motivation and drive
- poor recovery and just feeling “off” all the time

The weird thing is that on paper I should be healthy. I’m very fit, muscular, low body fat, train regularly, barely drink alcohol, don’t smoke cigarettes, sleep reasonably well, and generally eat clean.

I’ve been getting bloodwork done for more than a year and my testosterone came back borderline low. Not clinically crashed, but definitely lower than expected for someone my age and lifestyle. Like at 300 ng/dL.

I’m starting to wonder whether years of chronic stress / burnout basically wrecked my hormones and nervous system.

Has anyone here had experience with TRT helping specifically with chronic burnout / fatigue symptoms like this? Especially when the issue seemed stress-related rather than just aging?

And just to be clear: I already know the potential downsides, side effects, fertility implications, lifelong commitment etc. I’m not looking for lectures about that.

What I genuinely want to know is whether TRT actually helped people recover from severe burnout symptoms — mentally, emotionally, physically, energy-wise — or whether it ultimately didn’t make much difference.

At this point I barely feel like myself anymore, so I’d really appreciate honest real-world experiences, both positive and negative.

I’m 40 year old man. I did blood work with a TRT clinic. Here are my blood results. I have been told my levels are normal. But are these optimal for physical performance? Do I still need TRT? Please advise

Advice on TRT for 34 male.

I’m 34 years old and went to do blood work and check out my test. My doctor said it’s low normal and she can prescribe me test deconate (not sure of the spelling)

My question is should I try to raise this naturally? Am I too young to consider TRT.

Are there any heart complications? I’m nervous starting it because I know it’s life long.

I have used steroids before but stopped my last pin at 32 years old and decided to never use again.

I’ve attached a pic of my blood work.

Looking for any advice please.
