r/Taemin

I know he‘s not the only K-pop idol that had hiccups before and I know they were other incidents that have happened, however, with the Seattle K-pop fest cancelled and the US tours postponed, I wonder if the new company he is with just made it so much harder. I mean, he did not have any problems last year when he was with a different company, but does anyone think this company doesn’t have the pull like Hybe does with their K-pop bands…I am saying this because BTS, Katseye, etc. all are Hybe associated and Hybe is such a huge company with lots of pull, especially from BigHit. I wonder if Taemin’s move to a different company made it difficult? 😞 I am really feeling sad for Taemin at this point..

I'm not crazy about the album but I went in for another listen. I already knew a lot of the songs sounded like songs I've heard before, but these two literally jumped out to me today.

I get taking inspiration but.... The same melody and progression on two different songs back to back????? Baby no.......

I'm just so confused by this album still! I was expecting it to sound different because taemin was more in control.

Well it DOES sound different from his previous work. In his previous work, I never heard a song that sounded like a replica of another song. Even the R&B and hip-hop, which can sound like imitations of western songs which is known to be a thing with kpop artists, taemin always sounded original with how he did it. I'm not getting that at all with these songs (I do like float though).

So I bought the send off add-on with the concert ticket but in the concert ticket it says that the doors open at 18:00 and in my send off ticket it says 15:30, but the send off itself should be at 21:50-22:15. So do I go to the venue already at 15:30 and just sit for 4 hours or why do the doors open for VIP add-ons so early? (This is my first kpop concert btw)

So in the case of cancelation or if I cant make it to the postponed date, does anyone know if ticketmaster will issue a full refund?

Hey guys! It's my first solo experience flying abroad to attend a concert and i am a bit anxious. Also first official kpop concert. I got the fanzone plus all the add ons to live the full experience but now i started to feel really nervous thinking i will be there by myself. I noticed most of the fans come in groups or duos at least. Have you had any similar experience? Any tips would be helpful! Thank youu

Hi everyone,

I’m attending the event in Madrid with my GF. I really want to gift her a VIP experience, but before buying one, I would like to know if there is a package that is definitely better than the others and how it works.

For example, I‘m wondering if the soundcheck really gives you a chance to meet Taemin backstage, or if it just makes you get to the venue several hours in advance to stand in the general admission area.

Thank you very much

Hi fellow Taemates! This question is oddly specific, but I always pick up fanchants better when I can hear them from previous presentations. Unfortunately, I can't find one for IDEA :c

Do you recall any vid where the fanchant is clearly audible? I realized the NGDA was released around COVID time, so it makes it even harder to find, but why not ask?

Happy Wednesday and thanks in advance!

I know people are probably tired of these questions but people, particularly on twitter, keep saying it will get cancelled based on phrases he used in his unnecessary apology. "Next time I'll be back" gets brought up the most. I know there is a chance the plug may get pulled but why bother trying to postpone it when the likelihood of it getting cancelled will be high? They could avoid a big headache by just cancelling it right now. I mean it will probably be in 2027 but even if it's in the summer it's still him coming back. Artists have postponed shows for a year before. I don't know why people seem so confident he is going to cancel. I have no taemate friends to talk about this stuff with 😅 so would like to hear others opinions.
