How to start learning?

Hi guys new to this channel.
I love tattoos and I have 9 currently
Recently I have started feeling drawn towards wanting to learn tattooing. Can someone advice where to start? I can actually relocate too for this.

Fierce & Blooming

This female dragon tattoo flows with strength, softness, and the fire that comes from becoming. The black brings every curve to life, while the crimson flowers add a story of growth through chaos.

First time Tattoo advice

I have some tattoo ideas that I want to discuss and see how this idea sounds to people here

  1. Tricep birth year tattoo in number

  2. Foot sole tattoo kinda hidden "made in india"

  3. "कर्म " on lips inside kinda hidden

I'm from Delhi and want to know some details about the the experience.

Edit : the photos is in reference to the idea the font won't be like from the image and might be thicker and bigger in size considering Indian skintone.

My third piece and the one that tested my full pain tolerance 😭

It took roughly 3 hours to get this and damn the pain especially at the centre part - I was whole time questioning why I chose chest piece 😭😂

But the pain was fully fully worth it- damn I really like how it turned out - absolutely beautiful and photos are not doing the justice to this abstract art! It looks waaay better and mind boggling 👌

Akash Tattoos (Xclusive) vs Sudipta (Oak Tattoo Studio), whom would you recommend for a Japanese-style tattoo?

Hey everyone, I am planning to get a Japanese-style tattoo and have been looking at artists in Guwahati.
I came across Akash from Xclusive Tattoos and Sudipta from Oak Tattoo Studio, and I really like the Japanese-style work both of them have done.
I am currently confused about whom I should go with, so I wanted to ask people here who may have personally gotten tattooed by either of them.
If you have experience with either artist, how was your overall experience and how do you feel about the tattoo now?

Is there any tattoo artists/ stick n poke/piercing/ zines/ alternative community here??

I’m a female tattoo artist (work in progress 🫡) based in hyd. Learned how to tattoo in Mumbai (Aliens tattoo school)

anyways I wanna find other young female tattoo artists, likeminded creatives, make friends, collaborate, even host stick-n-poke/tattoo/zine workshops in the future, etc. Is there any community here for this? 😭 I see a lot in Mumbai & Delhi but hard to find it here in Hyderabad.

Tattoo ideas for Seedhe Maut

Hello everyone, looking for some cool concepts for tattoo about seedhe maut. I have some ideas of tattooing lyrics from their song. Here are some examples -

Jo mili woh jigri thi nahi, mile jo khushi woh tikti bhi nahi.

Dard baat-ta hoon to dard kam lagta hai

Tumse baat karta hoon to dil bhar uthta hai

Nahi hoon haalaaton se bada

Nahi hoon in raaton se bada

Kshama deti hai unko hi shobha, jinki swamini bani shakti

Do shashtra: Shakti ya Kshama

Any input would be appreciated. Just don't recommend the simple shakti kshama one, it's too simple and is common.

Need professional suggestions

This would be my first ever tattoo.

so im a guy okay, medium to tan complexion i think.

and i want to get this exact tattoo of light pink carnation flower, im not sure about the placement yet (can use suggestions) i was thinking behind the arm near the elbow first, or near the wrist i think wrist is more im inclined towards now.

would it go well ?

I need to get the exact minimal one like the first image on the placement in the 2nd image.

This personally means a lot to me, so pls don't steal it lol :)

Also I'm ready to pay any premium i just need it to be perfect, no budget constraints like literally, so I could really use help in finding the most perfect artist also for this.

Location also I'm willing to travel, rn im in kolkata will be in bombay in a few weeks.

Thankyou everyone

Looking for honest opinions on my first forearm tattoo

I’m planning to get my first tattoo on my forearm and have narrowed it down to these two designs. I’m looking for genuine opinions from people who have tattoos, especially if you’ve had fine-line/blackwork tattoos for a few years.

I’m mainly trying to decide based on:

- Which design looks best on a forearm in real life, not just in a photo?

- Which one is likely to age the best?

- Does the size/detail of any of these look too small for the forearm?

I’m not particularly concerned about pain. I’m more concerned about how the tattoo will actually look once it has healed and aged. Many thanks in advance peeps :)

9rl supremacy!!

It’s a person with a moustache and a pipe sitting on a reclining Indian chair with typical Bengali window grill patterns and a gramophone, deconstructed into blocks. Everything is my rendition of Indian Miniature style paintings done freehand.
Will post the heal in a couple of months hehe!
