I have 2 questions, as I'm looking to buy my first carbon face TaylorMade driver.
Some of you that have one crack or seperate 3+ years later, did TaylorMade still replace your driver?
If I buy a new driver, in plastic, but off of a private party or ebay, will TaylorMade still replace.it if it cracks down the road?
I’ve now cracked and or separated the face on 3 generations of TM drivers within the last 8 months.
TM refused to warranty the Stealth 2, due to being outside of the two year window by a few days (this club was a warranty replacement for my Sim2).
The latest wrecked club is the Qi35 core, which was the warranty replacement for the Qi10.
Just received word they will be sending another Qi35, not the new Qi4D. Sucks man. Insult to injury.
My life to date total of broken TM drivers:
M2 - M4 - M6 - Sim2 - Stealth2 - Qi10 - Qi35
7 drivers cracked in the center of the face, from titanium to carbon. None have lasted. Yet I keep playing them, what’s the definition of insanity again?
Sim numbers included. Don’t come at me, I’m at elevation.
I got a taylormade qi10 driver and it was shipped with the head off the shaft. I’m just getting into golf and need to know where I could get that put on and set right?
Customizing through TaylorMade website gives estimated availability date of mid July! That’s actually not even for the length; that’s just for the standard short slant head. The L-neck is a little quicker at mid June. Still undecided about getting the short slant vs L-neck.
Are there any legitimate sources that sell 33” (all other specs standard) ready to ship? Or is there simply no way around waiting this long? Wanting to play some big public pro courses this summer and just want to ensure I have this by the time I play.
Edit: PGATOUR Superstore seems to say 33” L-neck is on backorder until only May 25th. Edit 2: This seller on eBay claims to ship the short slant within 30 days in 33, 34, or 35”. So I wonder if that means the putters are sitting ready to ship, which would be great if true. https://ebay.us/m/T4oGk7

I have a 35” spider 5K-ZT I put the new LARGE zero taper golf pride grip (no forward lean) and I put 14g in all 3 spots on bottom of putter head then I put it back on the revealer and it made no difference at all it’s still sitting perfect on revealer and not turning at all so for all you guys crying about it will mess up the balance or zero torque or whatever no it doesn’t not at all 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Got fit for a new driver today and was shocked I was in a LS model. I was expecting the max or core. It’s a 10.5 turned to a 11 degree head with a 60 stiff shaft. I did have the RBZ from around 2015 before this.
I currently have the 34” with the standard press grip on it but if I add 3-4 inches and put the counter balance grip on would it mess up the putter ?
Hi I’m looking to upgrade my putter (still quite high handicap) and looking into used older model spider. I found these on local market for €228, it’s been up for a while now so I might be able to ask for lower price if it’s decent price?
What year model are these? Is it the 2017 model? And what’s appropriate second hand price for these nowadays?
For comparison, Spider tour Red go for about €220 new and 155 used. Is the only difference the neck hosel?

Yesterday I cut down my shaft to 43.5” and regripped it (Speeder MD6 R7 shaft already) to use with my Qi4D core driver head and I absolutely LOVE the way it played off the tee boxes tonight! Should I just keep an extra/full size shaft and keep in my umbrella holder on my bag and swap shafts around when I want, or eventually buy the R7 Quad? I’ve already deleted my 3W out of my bag since I can’t hit it worth a shit anyway, and replaced it with a new Qi35 Tour 5 wood that I hit just as far or further with much better launch! 🤷🏼♂️

Stiff purred Graffloy shaft. Who should buy this? A beginner with a faster swing speed who doesn’t have $150 for an older Ping. Or someone who was to display the original driver with movable weights.
Recently got the driver heard something rattling in the shaft. Thought my driver was done. drove me crazy. Picked up grip kit and pulled the grip and found this in the shaft.

Hey everyone, I have had my Stealth 2+ since it was gifted to me for Christmas 2024, so it was bought 18 months ago within the 2 year warranty. Yesterday while on the course I hit a drive I thought pretty good and the head flew off and probably went 60 yards down the fairway with my ball. I completed the warranty form and explained my situation and how I do not have a receipt as it was gifted to me from someone who has passed since so I have no way to get one at this point. I called today and they basically said the same then offered a 30% discount but there’s no way I can afford a qi4d from their site at still around $500 after the discount as I am a first year college student. Anyone have any ideas or do I just need to buy a new cheaper driver? I have enjoyed this driver and even have bought matching stealth irons with it as I rock all Taylor mades so I am a little disappointed this would happen on a seemingly good strike of the ball. I know these are a little different from one another but i am thinking to make a change with my putter. I play a scotty newport 2 blade and have for past few years and my putting has been really really solid . Good with both short and long putts and putting is one of my strong suits in my game. This past week on vacation i used a year old regular Spider tour at a very challenging course as part of a rental set. Well needless to say i had the absolute best putting performance of my career and ending up shooting my career best. I was -1 on the front and had a total of 25 putts on the round. After that i was already feeling like i want a spider. Yesterday i played my home course and with my old faithful blade and was absolute dog shit atrocious!!! Missing short easy putts and just had no grasp of distance and feel for the greens. Granted i played 2 totally differnet courses but wouldnt of imagined i got that used to the guest course with a rental set or a rental putter.
My thought is to obviously now buy a Tm Spider but through my research im now also looking at the center shafted scotty 11R OC and also the Tour X as that seems like an improved version of the tour.
Coming from a blade to a Spider or a phantom people rant and rave over how well it is for blade putters but im not sure if this was a fluke or a true insight to my putting potential with something more forgiving
