i’m from des and i wanted to ask, for global studies is it we will go with students from other schls or just with des students? Also how do they make the decision of who is going where?

No I am not joking. I am SICK and TIRED of seeing disgusting shit stains all over the stall, or piss all over the toilet seats and floor, or unflushed floaters in the toilet bowl. We are all grown ass adults here, how does noone know how to flush the damn toilet. Its UNBELIEVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE. I've seen port-a-potties with better hygiene.

Today I went to one of the toilets near Mcdonalds and there was diarrhea all over one of the toilet bowl. It was so disgusting I was almost threw up. Something similar happened last week too, and the week before that, and the week before that.

I have endured 2 and a half years of this bullshit (no pun intended). Enough is enough. We need to start a petition to make bathroom hygiene/toilet training a tpfun subject. Make it a pass/fail or graded, I don't care. Make it replace ECOMM or something, noone likes that subject anyways.

Hi guys, i’m a Y2 student and i’ve been struggling to find a place to sleep in school😭. I’m not a sleeper when it comes to school but assignments have been messing up my sleep. Not even my classroom is comfortable to sleep in.

Is there a comfortable and decent areas in school that I can nap in between breaks. preferably near to engine and design schools🙏

hihi, i'm a sec 4 student, interested in pursuing criminology/criminal justice/forensics in the future (big picture), but i'm still undecided between psychology and JC.

It's the holidays now and i'm already so burnt out, haven't even started memorising for humanities. i just don't want to study things that i'm not interested in.

However, a lot of people are discouraging Poly as my grades would depend more on my group mates. I know i can stay consistent and dont mind the extra year compared to JC though, so that's not my concern.

I would hope to get a scholarship, and university to me is a must.

based on my concerns, could anyone advise me/share experiences? thank you so much!!

i’m looking to join a subcomm of my academic school’s studies club, does attending their agm give me priority in entering sub comm? (like will there be a chance i’ll be asked during the interview if i attended their agm and all that)

its been less than 24 hrs but i've decided that i'm only interested in chem eng 😓

So i have 2 choices im considering which is ChE in SP or ChE in TP. I went to both TP and SP open houses earlier in the year and the ChE in both polys interest me. The only thing is:

1. TP is slightly further and less convenient to commute to for me than SP

2. I believe SP is more well known for its science courses idk, let me know your thoughts

3. If i end up getting an offer from TP instead of SP, i may or may not reject the offer because ultimately i still prefer SP

So should I risk it and put only 1 choice (ChE in SP)? Or should I put both to be safer

Any insights and tips would be helpful and much appreciated! Again would love any tips from ChE students for portfolio and interview

Hey everyone, I was wondering if TP has any student-led platforms that focus on writing about current affairs, school-related issues, or student perspectives.
I noticed that apart from the short updates on TP’s official platforms, there doesn’t seem to be an official student magazine/newsletter (unless there’s something I’m unaware of). I was thinking it would be quite interesting if TP had a CCA or student initiative where students could write articles, interview people(alrd done ik), cover school events, and discuss current issues affecting youths.

I feel like a platform like this could benefit students by helping them stay updated on what’s happening in TP and the wider world, while also giving students interested in writing, journalism, design, photography, or communications a place to develop their skills.

I am just curious if something like this exists in like cmm or if the ig posts under temasekpoly are sufficient. Would anyone be interested in a student led publication?
