Looking for some insight on the Bash Tower. We’re planning to book a room and want to know if it’s the right mix of fun and scenery. We want to be close to the action but still have space to recharge, ideally with a balcony to enjoy. Anyone who’s stayed there would you recommend it?
Also wondering whether tower guests can access the rooftop pool, and what the vibe is like up there compared to the main pool.
So the GF (28F) and I (31M) went to Temptations back in March and absolutely loved it. We are looking to go back again but the earliest we could possibly do would be October / November and were not certain what the resort would be like that time of year (Occupancy, Age of Guest, party vibes, etc.). Anyone have info or insight from their travels about the best months (and worst months) to visit Temptations? Trying to figure out if its worth going as soon as we can or if we should just wait until the spring/summer again.
We're a 33M/30F couple who recently stayed at Desire Riviera Maya and had an amazing time. We loved the friendly, open-minded atmosphere, but we're looking for something a little more upbeat and fast-paced. Desire had more downtime than we expected, so we're considering Temptation for Christmas.
We really enjoyed Desire's clothing-optional environment and understand that Temptation is topless-optional rather than fully nude. We also loved Desire's nightclub and playroom. Since public sexual activity isn't officially allowed at Temptation, what is the atmosphere actually like after dark? Do guests still get fairly adventurous, or is it more of a regular party-club environment?
We'd also love to know:
How does the nightclub compare with Desire's?
Is there anything similar to a playroom?
Are guests generally as friendly and social? At Desire, almost everyone we passed smiled, said hello, or started a conversation.
Is Christmas week usually busy? 26-30th
Is it easy to meet other couples, or do people mostly stay within their own groups? Since it isnt a LS resort, is it easier to approach people without giving the impression you want to sleep with them?
How are the theme nights and daytime pool parties? Do people go all out for theme nights like they do at desire?
Are the pools heated? Are chairs hard to get?
Has anyone tried the fantasy massage? What does the experience include, is it available for couples, and is it similar to the ones at desire?
Are there any other activities or experiences we should book ahead of time?
We'd especially appreciate opinions from couples who have visited both Desire and Temptation. Which one did you prefer, and why?

2. Air Bundles
These work through Desire’s partner ReservHotel. The advantage here is that they can include larger discounts on the hotel portion of the bundle that can exceed booking them separate. I’ve even seen circumstances where the air bundle was cheaper than the resort alone once you get to reservations of 5+ nights.

Airport Transfer:
There are multiple options out there and Desire has their own in-house vendor (Original Transfers). If you have a free transfer promo then obviously use them.
However, a highly rated (and cheaper) option is also USA Transfers. Feel free to search them on Reddit or Google and you’ll see what I mean.
Excursions:
Desire concierge can help with multiple offsite activities like ATV/Zipline tours, and Coco Bongo trips. However, there is one activity that you may here about in the forums and that is The Cancun Boobs Cruise This runs on Mon/Fri out of the dock right next to Temptation. It's a bit of a haul back for Desire guests, but it's definitely an interesting option for split trips with Temptation. They do a great job working to get everyone involved and while every cruise is different based on the group. It lasts about 5 hours in total and is for those that are maybe looking for a little higher level fun.
