Why isn't Tendai so famous as other schools?
So,i have a little epxerience with other schools of japanese buddhism,i first started with Zen,but i feel i was very opaque, then i went to Nichiren but i dint liked either. I end up in Tendai which i loved it,but i got a question that still remains in my head
"Why is isnt this as famous as other achools?"
I mean, tendai school teachings are so beautifull,so big and so amazing to me and i wonder why this isnt as famous as other schools?
Maybe, its "too wide" for many people? Who knows
