made a video recommending CPU strategy settings!

I played for over 400 hours without knowing you could modify CPU strategies.. So I made a recommendation video for anyone who didn't know like me!

I feel like adjusting strategies creates a much bigger impact and feels way more realistic than tweaking player stats Personally, I feel like these current values fit best with the difficulty level I play on. I recommend adjusting them based on each player and your own play style!

How to move better?

Sometimes I struggle to get to the ball because there is no way to really tell where they will hit the ball. Is that the case or am I missing something. Please do give some tips because I really need them to get better.

Game now tougher?

Obviously i love this game it’s my favourite tennis game. It seems like the game speed has increased massively i used to play on incredible 2, now the cpu speed and shot speed is so fast it’s really difficult to react. I don’t mind a tougher game but is there a way to slow the game speed, or should i just drop difficulty until i get good again?

Moments like this are why I love this game.

I lost the match 1-3 (Pro 3 difficulty). The crazy bastard served 32 aces, and I made too many unforced errors :)

Difficulty Scaling Question

Relatively new player here (and God I love this game), I'm on my first proper World Tour Seasons career after hitting up the Training Club for a few days.

Settled on doing an Ernests Gulbis career starting in 2007 (when he's ranked in the 100s) as I felt most comfortable using his baseline gamestyle in the training club and he was quite an interesting player.

Anyway, started with the Brisbane international Qualifiers, on Pro 1. Wallopped Rameez Junaid 6-0, 6-1. Beat Michael Llodra 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 (struggled with his serve and volley in the first), then rolled Starace 6-3, 6-2.

In the main draw I beat Nalbandian (who is currently ranked #8) 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 and then Gonzalez (who is ranked #10) 6-2, 6-4. I've got Nadal in the next round.

I'm playing on Pro 1 with the assists on, except for the serves. I don't really want to remove the assists just yet, as I'm still relying on them especially for shot aiming, but I definitely feel like I need a difficulty increase. I don't mind turning up and beating higher ranked players, but it feels like I did that too easily there. Until Ernests abilities and rankings improve, I'd like it to be pretty hard to beat a seeded player

I'm not quite sure of how the scaling works in this game though. Should I up it to Pro 5? Pro 10? Or just a couple of levels to like Pro 3?

What difference do you all find the difficulty scaling makes?

Dealing with AI serve

Hi guys, I recently picked up a copy of TE4 on Steam after years I was off the game (last chapter I played was TE3). I'm slowly becoming confident with all the strikes but there's one thing i'm struggling a lot, the AI is killing me with aces. I just played against Dan Evans and he absolutely nuked me on serve, he hit something like 3 aces in every single service game he has played, the only hope I have is to go to TB and hope he doesn't stay so consistent with the serve so that I can get a minibreak and try to win the set. How do you deal with that?

Thank you in advance

Help with understanding careers

I just reinstalled TE4 after giving it a try last year for a few weeks. I'm having the same frustrations. When I play Beginner or the next level (now I forget the name) and pick a player in the first 100, I win every match 6-0 6-0. I'm now trying Pro level, max sub-level, with a #6 ranked player with every skill between 60 and 98 and I keep on losing 6-0 6-0 any qualifying match with players with half the skills. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I did the tutorials, I play tennis in real life and I think I have a good strategy and positioning, I'm trying everything, not using risky special shots when I'm not in a good position in time, I sometimes resist for long shots, but then the other player just starts placing fast shots on the line one side and then the other and I lose. I may get better in time but I can't see how this could improve and it's not normal to lose every match with a #6 player right?

I'm wondering if there's something on the career level I'm not getting.

For example I see the Experience level is only at 10-20. Does this affect the performance? Should I use Experience points to enhance my different skills or should I let the Experience bar get higher to get better results? Is the career mode meant for you to make the player grow, so even a #6 is not at their best at the start?

None of this is explained in the game and I feel quite lost.

Can someone explain to me what's the best way to go at the beginning without it being too easy like on Beginner and the next level where I was winning with zero struggle, but also not losing every match, and in general how Experience points work and how careers work?

Thank you!

This is by far the best tennis game to ever come out.

This is by far the best tennis game to ever come out, but How much much do you think the developer needs to put in some good graphics ?
