Looks so cool I’m tryna get it

Any tips on how to improve my building are very much appreciated

Build a lot but idk i like this quite a lot, buildings actually fun, i modelled it out of a sand hill i made, i made everything myself

My idea is to make it all themed but the outside is a rolling cactus. I don’t really know how to build so I want some different views on what to put and stuff.

These jellyfish platforms are slowly becoming one of my favorite blocks for detailing.

so i’m building a walmart logo (absolutely no idea why…) but It’s not looking good with the ici and especially when looking on the map. How do I stop them from growing without ruining the build? Pre hardmode btw

I'm working on a build where a giant stone tentacle is holding up a house, but I've hit a bit of a creative wall.

The tentacle shape itself is mostly finished (pictured), but I'm struggling with how to make the point where the tentacle meets the house look convincing. I want it to actually look like it's gripping the house instead of just touching or clipping through it.

My biggest issue is figuring out how to overlap the textures naturally. If I just build the house on top of the tentacle, it looks awkward, but if I have the tentacle go through the house too much, it also doesn't look right.

I need help lighting my town up. I often find myself just placing torches everywhere when it's dark, just instinctively. I don't want my town covered in torches though. Help me by posting some designs in the comments, or just give direct suggestions without images, I just kinda need some help.

I think it's good but it kinda weird I feel like something's missing. What should I add? or is it already good enough

This is my last worlds build. I did use references for some of these builds but I love how they turned out and I put my own little spin on everything.

Stone golem head + golem pet + boulder pet and boulder house, as boulder/stone it can get
