Been on tesa for about 8 weeks. Would get some bad swelling from shots, would look like bug bites or get bad skin irritation. coach recommended I switch to IM as it may help with irritation. Did the switch and it definitely helped.

Ended up getting a new bottle and when I switched sub q irritation wasn’t as bad. Yesterday I did a lat shot and within 5 seconds I got an itching fire sensation that went from my finger tip to my shoulders and my feet were pin and needles plus itching. Chest turned bright red and my stomach broke out in a rash.

No shortness of breath but I did get queasy. I’m wondering if I hit a vein and it absorbed way to quick and caused a histamine response or if I just can’t use the compound any more.

Title says it all. It’s crystal clear and has similar viscosity to water after reconstituted

Hey everyone, I’m 43, male, and looking for some advice on my recent bloodwork after starting a tesamorelin/ipamorelin blend.
I started on August 24 at 1.3 mg total per dose, which was 1 mg tesamorelin and 300 mcg ipamorelin, Monday through Friday.
On September 28, I increased to 2 mg total per dose, still Monday through Friday with the same ratio. That works out to approximately 1.54 mg tesamorelin and 460 mcg ipamorelin. I’m self-administering without medical supervision.
My baseline labs from July 8, 2026:
IGF-1: 212 ng/mL
IGF-1 Z-score: +0.9
A1c: 5.6%
Fasting glucose: 94 mg/dL
Fasting insulin: 17.1 µIU/mL
My latest labs from October 5, 2026:
IGF-1: 376 ng/mL, above the lab’s reference range of 52 to 328
IGF-1 Z-score: +2.3, reference range −2.0 to +2.0
A1c: 5.4%
Fasting glucose: 101 mg/dL
So my IGF-1 went up about 77%, from 212 to 376. My A1c came down a little, but fasting glucose went from 94 to 101. These latest labs were taken one week after I increased the dose.
Has anyone had a similar jump in IGF-1 on this blend? I’m wondering whether to stay at 2 mg or go back down to 1.3 mg. Anything else I should be considering or asking about?
Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

Happened to me last night. Previously I would get welts at injection sites that felt kinda itchy and hard for a few days under the skin. This time it was different.

Took the same dose, felt like a bee sting getting warmer and warmer. Then I started getting itchy all over my body, like really really itchy, it kept getting worse. I figured, maybe small reaction or alergy, so I take 2 Benadryl. It kept getting worse. At this point I'm feeling really tingly. It was so bad I had to jump in the shower. I looked at myself in the mirror and my whole body was red and covered in hives like mosquito bites everywhere. Then my tongue started swelling, harder to breathe.. I realize what's happening. I'm going into Anaphylaxis shock.

I barely made it out of the shower, I'm now on the brink of blacking out. But I call 911 and lay down flat to prevent myself from fainting. The next 10 minutes were hell.

They arrive I still had hives, shakes, and lightheadedness. But I was starting to breathe better, I guess the Benadryl started working. They hung around for 10min to take my vitals and make sure my symptoms weren't worsening. I ended up declining to take an ambulance ride ($$$ fuck our healthcare system) because even with insurance it's ridiculously expensive and my condition was already improving. Ended up spending the night on the toilet with crazy digestive cramps and diarrhea.

If I was still feeling the way I did in the shower when the paramedics arrived, I would have 100% taken an EpiPen shot and a ride to the hospital. I was genuinely afraid for my life. Horrible experience. Will not take this peptide ever again.

TLDR: Anaphylaxis shock, almost had to go to ER. Keep strong antihistamines around if you're going to try something. Start with a tiny dose. If you get red welts or bumps that last a few days, never take it again.

Also fuck the American healthcare system, people shouldn't need to think about money when they need medical care.
