Got brass strap for the stationary primary electrodes, and safety spark gap, built most of the Asynchronous rotary spark gap, and started on building the base. Next is mounting the Mots and power resistors. Need to order G10 phenolic and MOCs, and a PFC cap. Then on to tank cap and primary/secondary

I also have one of those high frequency transformer kits if that would work better. Ive been trying to get this to work but right now can't get a spark to form. The caps make a loud as hell spark if I discharge them manually though. Is the value too large? (Just says 225k)

The battery is the Duracell Ultra 12V 20AH Deep Cycle AGM Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery with M5 Insert Terminals
