TL;DR: Crossposts from r/KasaneTeto and other Communities prohibiting AI pictures are allowed as long as they are not hostile towards Artists involved with AI.

TCJ's Tetober was being designed in August 2025 just as hostility towards AI was ramping up in the form of an effort to stop the spread of this meme I found.

After that, the proponent revealed their role had stirred up enough negative sentiment to get r/KasaneTetoAI brigaded, which prompted my departure from the r/KasaneTeto Mod Team. (I defended my space and also pushed back on KT.). I later learned harassing Artists was part of his identity*, even as a new Mod of KT—I accidentally recruited him for the team because I believed it to be a beautiful moment in progress. My unrestrained response to this reveal prompted Arboliva to unmod me from r/Akitaneru (which I had recently turned over to them in trust after reopening it earlier in the year ), and began r/AkitaNeruNEO for a fresh start.

All of this did well to disrupt my Tetober planning, to say little of other projects.

KT formalized its Tetober shortly after and I finished setting up the TCJ version which I began cross-sharing to the other side. Each Week presented its own set of directions and encouragement for aspiring Artists struggling to start.

Week 2 suggested AI as creative medium, violating KT's rules and leading to its removal after multiple reports. A tripleban followed along with a statement revealing our exchange which devolved into the first character assassination attempt of u/DYNAKYRIS. (Many of the participants arrived wearing User Flairs I designed. Cinema.)

The Community also updated its no-AI policy, which became:
5: No Auto-Generative AI posts.
Posting auto-generative art or music is not allowed in r/KasaneTeto. The promotion of auto-generated content in other communities, or the encouraging of creating auto-generated content will also not be allowed.

As suggested by the nature of TCJ User removals in the months that followed, this language was vague enough to be misinterpreted as reaching beyond KT's boundaries, to say little of the indistinct phrasing of 'auto-generative'.

In May 2026 I launched an Adult Community inspired by the growing success of BRAINROT, by then well over ten million Views, as a hybrid (AI+Traditional) space and it was received with hostility from users of SpicyTeto. Shortly after, I removed a User for their misconduct, leading to another round of u/DYNAKYRIS misrepresentation. This incident even called the future of SpicyTeto into question. My Co-Founder affirmed AI would have no place in it and I subtracted most of my presence on my way out the door; I simply couldn't continue supporting a room that had become so unwelcoming about aspects of my creativity.

In the meantime, I had grown SpicyTeto into a Community of over 12,000 where emerging Artists could pursue their fortunes, which is precisely why I went ahead with SpicyTeto in the first place—but through 2025 I became increasingly involved in building Teto/Neru spaces instead of getting good enough at drawing dirty to make sales.

As the fallout of this complaint intensified bans (and spawned another Community antagonistic towards TCJ), and after requests to have the post pulled were denied, I decided to shut out every space that was fostering this behavior towards r/TetoCirclejerk and r/KasaneTetoAI: a Crossposting policy entered the Ruleset and I accidentally gave myself more unpaid labor.

Over the summer I encountered r/ChurchofTeto and was reminded of how much fun Kasane Teto on Reddit actually used to be.

I eventually ditched the Crosspost policy.

So Tetober returns and I'm more worn out than ever about Teto Reddit, partially due to my restraint in the telling of what happened.

A few months ago, I approached the antagonist regarding my work being weaponized in my direction during the previous summer; by this point he had been a Mod of KT for only three days. He responded to my comment by implying more brigading: "you might as well people this is a topic of deadly seriousness. Genuinely man it's NOT that deep." Rather than exposing this on TCJ, I contacted the Mods who promptly removed the remark. I edited my Comment stating, effectively, we can't control what we give The Internet.

At the end of July I barred him from my spaces and he drew attention to it at the beginning of September. When I was pinged into the conversation I began setting the record straight, up to the denial of his initial antagonism.

But the KT Mod Log at August 2, 2025 around 10:24PM ET would tell a different story. I made a screenshot of the post after I removed it and discovered it only after the September-October dumpster fire.

I wound up repurposing it.

Such are the exhausting details behind TCJ's lack of Tetober at this time.

Anyway, enjoy making Art however you make Art and feel free to show off what you're making as long as it's not aggressive towards Creators in a manner that has become quite familiar.
