If religion is questioned because it's man made then why not nationalism?

This is a question that an influencer asked in one of her reels. She questioned why one is considered as something to be proud of while the other is questioned.

Although I do have an opinion and answer on this but I wanted to discuss too.

Share your opinions first, I'll go next.

Help my Mother Subhra Roy - Battling Septic Shock and Brain Tumor (Grade 3)

Hello Reddit family,

I am Rajdeep Roy and I am reaching out to you for your support. My mother (59 years old) is currently fighting a severe, multi-front health crisis. She is undergoing intensive treatment for a brain tumor, a severe kidney infection, and pneumonia, all compounded by pre-existing diabetes.

Because these critical conditions struck simultaneously, she requires aggressive, continuous medical intervention. On April 29th, she underwent a critical Kidney infection surgery for the Septic Shock. A week after her discharge she was again admitted to hospital due to pneumonia. She is currently in recovery phase. However, the brain tumor operation cannot be delayed further and needs to happen within the next 2 weeks.

The estimated cost for her treatment, specialized procedures, and recovery has already cross over ₹15 lakhs. We have exhausted our insurance coverage and personal savings, but we still face a massive shortfall to cover the remaining hospital bills. We urgently require an amount of ₹10 lakhs to proceed with the surgery.

Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate, sharing this post within your network would be immensely helpful. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.

INDIA FDI COMPARISON OVER THE YEARS WITH CHINA.

India has basically improved in most of the factors in the last 15 years that goes on to show the potential we have. The best part is that our youth is unsatisfied with the progress we have made so far and want double digit growth and refuses to accept nothing less than the best !!!

Good job Guys! keep the pressure build up on Ethanol as it seems to be working. The final nail in the coffin of Gadkari will be when people just turn off their car engines in the middle of streets, roads and highways and everything will be stand still. Gadkari idiot needs to step down ASAP.

Why did she not speak anything to neet students who were going through trauma and depression due to paper leak

She became the first mental health ambassador, but now when there is a need to raise this topic with regard to the students we have not heard a single word from her

A BHAGWA-clad person went to CJP protest at Jantar mantar today and said that students who died by suicide following the paper leak did so because they "used to masturbate." What should we do with such people and government who is sheltering them.

Is CJP protest waste of time?

I think they are just suffering and their efforts will be wasted. Current government doesn't care about this. What is your take?

Nationalism is the only way to overcome all the heterogeneity of region, caste, religion etc. Imagine a packed cricket stadium singing Vande Mataram or Chak De India. It is the biggest cultural vector in the world.

"this nation has created so many vectors that the sum total cultural vector is diminished"

Is one way to put it

because there's nothing that we can do that'll appeal to everyone and unite everyone on one boat.

That's why I wish India was a homogeneous country with one language and one religion. People would have whole heartedly loved the country and politicians would have cared about the development instead of just doing religion based politics

India’s public servants act more like colonial masters and indian public do not raise voice because slavery is well mixed in our blood. Learn to raise voice against these blood suckers not against each other. COMMON MAN SHOULD SUPPORT THE COMMON MAN AGAINST GOVT, POLICE AND SUCH OFFICERS.

India’s public servants act more like colonial masters, and it’s a problem that’s not getting any better. A video from Udaipur shows an elderly woman struggling up a flight of stairs to meet the Udaipur SP while officials stand back and do nothing. What did she want? Ironically, it was to make a complaint.

It’s the same story everywhere. At Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, a manager was spotted living the life of luxury. Personal air conditioning, endless entertainment on her phone, and an appalling attitude towards customers who dare interrupt her sloth.

We kicked out the British to get treated like this by our own?

Disgusting post and comments about mother of RG Kar Victim and now BJP MLA, Ratna Debnath, in the r Kolkata sub.

Rightful criticism is one thing. Blatant bullying and hatred is completely different. A video was circulated on the sub about Panihati MLA and the mother of the RG Kar rape victim, Ratna Debnath in which she was shown to question the due progress of the case. Much like the title of the post, the level of vitriol and spamming carried out in the comment section is just disgusting.

It's a shame for us Bengalis to project ourselves like this in the public sphere.

People get fined for overspeeding, wrong parking, no seatbelt and many other violations. But no government official is ever punished for robbing citizens of their basic dignity on the road.

Indian citizens need to go into the house of local MP MLA MUNICIPALITY OFFICER etc and dragg them out to the place and ask them to fix it.

Sounds illogical but once done it will leave a threat in the heart and mind of these crooks and give a lesson to others taking the Indian public for granted.

The U.S. has a system that largely emphasizes merit. In India, caste is asked for at every stage of education, and opportunities often depend on checking the right boxes. Maybe it's time to introspect and rethink this approach.
