How is This Show So Profound?
Just found the show in May of 2026. I am in my mid 50s and introduced into weed culture a few years back. And I don't think I have found many things that compliment and good smoke the way this animated world does, except for the Trailer Park Boys.
Sassy is like a got dammed Yogi. His ‘series’ is one of the most comforting things I have ever watched, along with he and Lez’s scene in season 3 finale when Lez is tripping on Chumma Island.
I also made the mistake of watching Mike Nolan Show before TBLS and fuck if I could bare understand a word. But after a couple seasons of TBLS, my brain adapted lol.

Sassy's Orange Hat: Bucket or Boonie?
The (fan-sourced?) wiki calls it a bucket hat, but the brim looks much more boonie to me—it's floppy and wavy with a chin string. Everyone else on the Choomah Island is wearing a boonie hat because they're on some skitz military shit.
Is this settled lore? Very important

Think about it, the pilot survives everything, seems to heal similar to Clarence only slower and with some sort of permanent damage afterwards, and he just showed up with a helicopter to save everyone on choomah island, so he knew what was going on in choomah island 2.
