How do you guys think the storyline of sinners will go like is their goal to absorb the shades as Rhinedottir did as like they are in essence the parallel of the heavenly principles and their shades as that is the the job of abyss to mimic and destroy.

Though in intention wise I don't think other than Hroptatyr or maybe even vedrfolnir are going against hp to usurp their authorities and it seems more like they are pursuing their own things rhinedottir just wants to pursue her life research, surtalogi just wants a worthy opponent, rerir well tholindis we all know about it, vedrfolnir plans i don't about as they are quite mysterious but he is doing many things behind the scene like the founding of abyss order which will lead to the creation of new khaenrian in yhe future, making bloodstained knight and maybe even enjou join the abyss. Fountaine prophecy etc. this little little things i believe are creating some kind of butterfly effect which vedr desires to achieve.

I have no idea about Hroptatyr the one who is blashphemy against reason maybe he really wants to usurp phanes position or something I don't know you all may share your reason here

As we all know the Abyss was brought in teyvat by Nibelung during the war of funerary flames. Before that there was no Abyss in teyvat as far as we know meaning there shouldn't be any other source of abyss in teyvat.

During the Cataclysm King Irmin let the abyss sibling absorb an unlimited amount of abyssal energy in a deep secret underground area of Khaenri'ah it was later implied that this absored abyssal energy become the source of sinners powers. In Norse mythology, Nibelung resides in the deepest layer of the world. Based on this i theorize that after Phanes defeated or destroyed Nibelung they sealed their body in the deepest layer of Teyvat. King Irmin may then have led the abyss Sibling there allowing them to absorb it which later became the source of the Sinners powers.
