So today a person pretending to be from airtel called me and he said that he was from airtel and asked me if I use airtel payments bank for upi which I do though I don't know how he know it but whatever the thing was that he said that airtel is giving passbook, atm card to its airtel payment banks users for free so he asked my address on which I just give him a fake sector and he didn't even ask for my full address after that he send me a legit airtel otp and said that it is required for him to verify or something. Know here I got confused as it seems like a real otp and actually it was the real otp but it was not for some verification or anything but just for logging into my airtel payments bank account and I believe from there he would have tried to take my balance somehow without pin.
Though funnily enough I have close to no amount in my airtel upi but still a scam is a scam.
