So , I have been playing this game for 8 months now and I have finished all the archon quests and I would like to think myself quite the traveler fan whether its lumine or aether , but the one thing I didn't like is how fontaine fucked over traveler's image , the first 2 parts where cool of us having to solve a murder mystery very on the "justice" theme of fontaine , however the rest of the quest did nothing for him and people made jokes about how he did nothing and "spectate"

and further worsened by the arlecchino fight , Like we should all know traveler was holding back as he already knew arlecchino's intentions however it is used as anti feat for some reason. Like fontaine is so larped I swear man , and people say it was genshin's peak for me it was worse than sumeru ngl.

Okay rant over , so to the old traveler lovers how did you feel when fontaine was going on?

PS: Our boy and girl got new shit and also whole lotta feat in shezhnaya and i am really liking their implementation and cryo kit.

The team is cryo mc, odette and alyosha. Plz suggest artifacts and weapons for qiqi or sucrose. Also is it necessary to build qiqi i heard obly her passive buffs stellar conduct.

SO to Durin and Cryo MC as well

Even with something to help them beat the boss like sword of Narzissenkreuz they still fight alone. More people should pay attention to world quest. The philosophy of we need to make enemies progressively stronger than Traveler so that the 5 star can shine otherwise shouldn't always be done.

then again I doubt genshin players know the difference between the boss being made strong so that characters can shine Columbina, Nahida and Neuvillette can shine and now we have Ronova so that Tsaritsa can shine and Traveler being weak arent the same.

you can argue it's about stakes however an opponent relative to or not strong as Traveler can still be made the main threat of archon quest or rather secondary antagonist. Which genshin kinda did with Signora and Childe.

Traveler not being able to solona specific enemy somehow puts them a tier below where they are supposed to be in some players minds

sorry if this post sounds stupid - I fell out of the loop because life happened, and I don't have the mental capacity to understand all the details about new mechanics.

I would like to build a cryo MC superconduct team for the abyss or even just farming. so far I have C0 r5 widsith Yae for him and C1 Alyosha. I will probably get Yae's C1, if I won't decide to make a team with Mizuki after the anniversary. idk what should be the 4th slot, though - I thought Prune would be good because shred and atk buffs are always good, but apparently, even Qiqi is better?

I have C3 Qiqi, C2 Prune, C6 Sucrose, C5 Beidou and C6 Diona. rn I don't remember if there were any other characters that got buffed, but please lmk. also I hope not Sucrose cause she's already been demanded by a couple of teams lmao

so what would be the most basic broke ahh team for cryo mc? thanks in advance

So as some of you know, Cryo is a difficult element when it comes to flexibility/reaction synergy, and Hoyo made the choice to keep Cryo "rigid" in Snezhnaya. (Please don't kill me for the ice pun lol)

 

Lunar Reactions had a higher investment cost, but had a massive range of viable team options due to the flexibility of Hydro. Hexerei was the same deal, but you used character pairings instead of an element. If you knew how to teambuild/invest properly, you could make a lunar or hex team work without being a wheelchair and etc.

 

Overall, Traveler had a huge number of teams in Nod Krai, and you just needed a bit of knowledge.

 

Stellar Reactions have a lower investment cost, but are closer to the design philosophy of "You need to build XYZ in this strict way". At the moment, outside of a few special exceptions, Stellar Teams don't play well with others outside of the niche and essentially punish you for doing so.

 

This is such an interesting topic to me so I really hope a few people can reply. Cryo MC/Stellar Reactions hit huge numbers but they only play well with a select few. Do you like this arrangement? Or would you trade a bit of the raw power in exchange for Stellar becoming more flexible?

 

(An example of flexibility would be adding Pyro to the Polestar Field DMG% gimmick, and having melt reactions inside a polestar field ignore defense. Then you could easily run something like Pyro/Electro/Cryo/Cryo.)
