Homelessness is a policy choice
It is literally free to house every homeless person in the United States, there's over 25 empty houses per each unhoused person. You wouldn't spend a dime. Your taxes wouldn't go up. A billionaires net worth might budge slightly, why the fuck do you care? I bet you right wingers hate seeing homeless people anyway, so stop sucking billionaire dick so hard that they stay homeless! Has industrial society severed our connection to natural time?
Does anyone else feel like we’ve become disconnected from time itself?
Not clocks or calendars. I mean actual time.
Like I know it’s Friday bc my phone says it’s Friday. I know it’s the end of the month bc rent is due. I know what season it is bc the stores changed their decorations.
But I don’t think that’s how humans experienced time for most of history.
Sometimes I wonder if we’ve become more connected to schedules and work than to the actual natural world around us.

Do voters choose leaders who actually understand them, or leaders who just make them feel understood?
Maybe one of the most important political skills isn’t understanding people it’s making people feel understood.
Trump is a good example. Whether he actually understood his supporters is debatable. But he was extremely effective at making many of them feel seen, heard, and represented.
makes me wonder when people vote, are they choosing the candidate who understands them best, or the candidate who is best at creating that feeling?

last post
with my disability i cannot continue to interact with people and/or do paperwork (i get migraines/nausea)(i was outta commission for two weeks just going to court)
basically resolved to end up outside - caseworkers, etc aren't as helpful as they could be. apparently to have someone do paperwork/interact with people on my behalf = guardianship or power of attorney (which hell nah as a minority with an already shitty exp with most people)
need cat food and meds for my girls -- without interacting with vets (i don't trust people with my body, not going to trust people with my cats)
been a super minority my whole life, watching this slow train wreck of a society, i can't do this shit with capitalism/"democracy" anymore
if you can, send money. otherwise... idk. i really don't lol
thanks for any help, especially if it doesn't come with people/paperwork (can't)
