Walk Among Us CD

Hey all, I'm a pretty big Misfits fan. I recently went to a local record shop and found an official Walk Among Us CD from Slash Records. It is in really good condition and plays perfectly. It was only $5 USD. I am just wondering is it rare to find Walk Among Us in local stores? I didn't know too much about the album itself before buying it other than it was generally hard to find.

Looking for an old misfits radio show bootleg i used to have.

Review: We were 138 bootleg

So I bought this last year but finally had time to sit down and listen to it. Side A is an awesome live show. I was shocked at how good it sounded. I would say audio is as good as evilive. Side b is an Audi of the why be something you aren’t cable access tv show everyone has seen. It sounds like shit. All in all side a makes this a good buy.

Design process of my tattoo

Some days ago I posted some photos of my Danzig / Misfits tattoo and it got a really cool reaction from the community. There were some discussions in the comments about the tattoo being too clean or the design looking weird or AI generated. All of those discussions ended up very well and some people even apologized and shared some pretty cool Samhain material for me to download and listen to, which is not common in online communities and makes this one a really warm place to share things.

I'm an artist and strong advocate against AI image generation, and decided to post this process of how I made the design. I started drawing a rough version by hand, composing the old way, covering and re-drawing parts, and cutting the paper to move things around. In the second picture you can see the ink passing through the paper of an early design, which was a re-draw of the Horror Business coffin, but then I decided to go into some kind of re-interpretation of the Legacy of Brutality cover combined with the Horror Business coffin.
The next two images are the de-draws in photoshop, in which I decided to change the position of the hands behind the coffin to create stronger compositive lines that guide the eyes to the Crimson Ghost face, and the final image is the end result in my skin through the hands of my tattoo artist.

I got this Misfits / Danzig tattoo done yesterday and wanted to share it with you

Excepting the Danzig and Misfits typographic logos and the Danzig skull, the design was completely done by me.

how much pre bookies footage is there? (speaking as in unreleased or in private collection)

the studio zero footage doesn’t count we’ve all seen that.

Why does Evilive sound like that?

Title...

I've been diving deep into The Misfits' catalog for the first time lately. I love live albums, and am stoked on the performances captured on Evilive, but wow does it sound like shit.

Did the original 7 inch sound this bad as well? Or did it happen when the tapes were digitized? The sound of Evilive reminds me a lot of the live track Jawbreaker had on one of the Rock Against Bush CDs. Also a great performance, but sounds terrible.

Would it be worth my time to track down one of the old LPs or a boot of the original 7 inch? Or will it not sound any better?

Un..box..ing

Really don't know what to say, so I let the photo-story speak. A great joy I want to share with persons of similar interests.

My life has now two great periods: before and after getting this package.

Necessary Boots

Not including 12 Hits, what are some bootlegs that are available on vinyl that you feel are necessary for a collection? I listened to an 8-episode podcast today where someone went through every release, live recording, and session you could possibly imagine. I feel overwhelmed because a lot of these boots have so many different versions with differences.

After listening, the Hitsville live boot seemed like a great one to grab. The older pressing has Samhain on the cover and apparently doesn’t include the encore, but the new version has correct artwork, the encore, but is apparently missing Attitude. This makes it difficult for me to decide.

Another boot that sounded good was the Plan 9 version on Walk Among Us. I’m not sure if that’s the same as the “Alternate Takes” release. Also lots of Static Age outtakes boots. There are so many different pressings.

I know you guys would be the experts to ask about this. Throw some stuff out there for me to grab. If you can be specific about which version too, that would be great.
