After missing out on the Christmas album I was pretty stoked to get this one.
It being an autograph card kinda messes up the spacing but, oh well. Re-hanging everything will be a project for a later day.
I think it is, in a way that presents itself noticably and satisfingly perfect. This album is exactly what Taylor promised. A part confessional and part plea to a higher power, much of which she describes as being ripped directly from her diary. Maybe some of you guys disagree and are welcome to say so in the comments but I also feel that every track serves this concept and from start to finish flows like a perfect anothology of events. Dear God is without a doubt one of the most exciting album releases this year and I enjoy having it on repeat as I have.

There’s a scene in the ‘Going To Hell’ music video that looks so similar to this to the point that when I first watched the ‘DG’ music video I genuinely thought it was a still from the ‘GTH’ music video and I had to do a double take. I tried to include a picture from the ‘GTH’ music video but my post got flagged and removed by Reddit.
I’m not really educated on religion at all so maybe this is a really common image so of course the band have replicated it twice, but it just made me think of it.

I posted pages from the issue (Iron Maiden on the front cover) a few days ago, which featured The Pretty Reckless in the magazine. Ordered the Special Edition Cover issue from their site and scanned it to share 🙂
This is one of my favorite songs on the album, and have tried to figure out what “if you do it well, you can go through it twice” means, but I cannot figure it out. Any guesses?
I have ordered these items as soon as they were available. I am UK based and I see them all over ebay or people posting how they got theirs but I haven’t had a single update. Is anyone else having this problem? :(
By the way, maybe I'm late to noticing this, but the album is called 'Dear God Volume I' - so does that mean we're gonna get a Volume II?

For anyone interested, I also scanned the Cassette Tape and inlay card. It doesn't feature all the stuff on the CD - lyrics, etc, as just a 2-sided inlay card.
Has anyone in USA received your Kerrang Bundle and if so who was the carrier that delivered? My order has been out for delivery for two days, but I have no idea who the carrier is to try and follow up and find out when it’s actually going to be delivered.
I've seen people accusing Taylor of pandering to creepy men for using Catholic schoolgirl imagery in the new album and the title track video, and let me say that this is a bad faith interpretation of the concept, Taylor said that this album is very personal and she wants to acknowlege all aspects of her life and make peace with her past, the school uniform is clearly a reference to both Jenny Humphrey's character and her Catholic school upbringing, it's not meant to be shock value for the sake of it nor is it pandering to certain demographics of men. I'm honestly tired of people misinterpreting female artists intentions.
The 2nd collection of 15 screencaps has Taylor looking a bit like a 'Stone Angel?'.
