Can anyone explain why Patrick Clancy was assumed innocent?

Would they not put both parents under investigation to see who did it? Especially when they found Patrick alive and well and Linsey almost dead? I am not assuming he is guilty, just curious as to why he is not under investigation.

Is there a way to find out for sure that Matthew Clancy is the uncle of Patrick Clancy?

Matthew Clancy was the Chief of Duxbury Massachusetts Police for years. If it’s true Patrick is his nephew, I feel that’s an important detail, as police are often corrupt covering for family.

What type of person believes Patrick did it?

I met up with some friends and the Clancy trial came up. I was asked who do you think did it? I said, what do you mean? They said, who do you think killed the kids? I said well obviously she did, she’s admitted to it. They looked at me like I just kicked a puppy and proceeded to say that obviously the husband did it and that he brainwashed her into thinking she did it. I said no she definitely killed the kids. Anyway it got awkward really fast.
Has this become yet another issue that people on the left feel one way about and people on the right another way about? I don’t know why this would be political, but I was getting the sense that I had somehow sided with the enemy.

The Gallery - Censored?

I don't even know what I did wrong. I know that Brett and Alice low key disagree with my perception of the situation but I don't understand why they would block my posts

Alice’s take on the LC trial

i am fully prepared to be downvoted for this, but there we go. To start with, I don’t for one minute think that LC should walk free, but I do think that she was in psychosis and I think she should be in a secure psych unit. But Alice’s take on this is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth. The way she’s laughing about Lindsey leaning on her parents, in a kind of ‘WHO talks to their parents or asks them to talk to her psychs’ yadda yadda. She doesn’t know Lindsey or her relationship with them. She seems to have no clue about any kind of mental health issues and going back to Lindsey being in nursing school and having anxiety and basically saying that it all stems from there and that *maybe* postpartum made it worse. I had huge respect for Alice, but this, it’s completely changed my opinion about her.

Newest legal brief episode on temujin kensu

The fact that Aaron Habel suggests he hasn’t listened to the coverage (which might as well name MS) is crazy. I understand not listening to it when you are doing a deep dive, but MS seemingly has done a deeper dive on this case than anyone even Aaron.

The waving away of this man calling witnesses to intimidate or incept them and him having the gall to say that they are trained in martial arts they can’t be intimidated, is a weird take.

I really wonder whenever I see another person or author featured on a show like this whether they pay the prosecutors podcast to try and direct more views to their show.

Mecklenburg County (NC) DA - What to expect?

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could shed light into what the atmosphere at the Mecklenburg County DA's office is like. Is it a friendly and team-oriented atmosphere? If they interview candidates, what is the interview process like? I am drawn to apply to ADA positions but I would like to know as much as I can about the specific office before I apply.
