There needs to be more Smurf Girls collection comic mostly with only the Smurf girls in it. It's interesting seeing the girls in there action packed adventures.

EDIT: I looked into it and found out that in the Greek dub, that she is a girl and have other name

Long before open-world adventures and online multiplayer, there was one tiny blue hero on a massive mission…

Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel’s Castle had us dodging danger, avoiding Azrael, and racing through Gargamel’s spooky castle to rescue Smurfette—all on the humble Atari.

For many of us, this was one of our very first licensed video games, and just hearing the word “Smurf” instantly brings back memories of Saturday morning cartoons and hours spent glued to the TV.

Simple? Yes. Frustrating? Definitely. But we’d happily play it all over again.

Get Your Own Smurfy User Flair!

Hiya everyone!

As you may have seen from the new summer themed banner and icon, this subreddit is getting a smurfy new update! While I plan to spruce up and edit the entire subreddit, I also plan on adding new user flair. There will be many normal flairs added that anyone can pick from, but I'd also like for you to be able to have your own custom choices. If you are interested in having your own smurfy flair, please let me know in the comments! I'll leave you with a few simple bullet points to follow when asking for your specific user flair.

Be sure to include these when asking for a user flair in the comments:

  • The exact phrase or name that you would like as your user flair (64 characters max, including spaces)
  • The color you wish your user flair outline to be
  • If you would like an image at the beginning or end of your flair, and what you would like the image to be (It will be tiny so be aware of that when deciding)

You know it’s crazy how Alvin and the chipmunks got four live action movies while the Smurfs only had two

As much I love Alvin and the chipmunks movies well some of them consider since the Smurfs debut during Alvin and the chipmunks 3 it’s kinda unfair that Alvin got four while the Smurfs got two I know because Alvin and the chipmunks came first in 2007 while the Smurfs came first in 2011 I just that if people didn’t hate the live action Smurfs movie we could have had a trilogy already with the Smurfs And since Alvin and the chipmunks and the Smurfs live action where my first introduction to the franchises I kinda had a soft spot for them And also before anyone asked yes I’m a huge fan of the live action Alvin and the chipmunks live action series My absolute favorites are of course the first one and road chip

Hear me out, A Smurfs Horror Movie would go hard

Based on The Purple Smurfs comic arc, it starts with everything normal, until suddenly a purple fly bites one of the Smurfs and turns into an insane, monster like, Purple Smurf, and the infection starts spreading

With only Papa Smurf and a few others unaffected, they must go on a whimsical death defying adventure find the cure to turn them back to normal, coming across cool fantasy creatures and crazy monsters on the way.

Little do they know, half of the purple Smurfs are on their tails to zombify them, while the other half of there's just sorta F-ing around with the human village and gargamel's layer

I don't care if Smurfs already has 4 movies even though so many other cartoons have double the amount, I love them and Peyo deserves something good for once!

A little funfact about Paolo Buglioni, the third italian voice actor of Gargamel

Paolo Buglioni (born in Rome in november 2 of 1950) is the last surviving voice actor for Gargamel in the 1981 historical series of The Smurfs, both Italian and non-Italian. All the others have died (including Gastone Pescucci (1927-1999)), the first italian voice actor, under whom Buglioni studied for the role, and Claudio Sorrentino (1945-2021), the second italian voice actor). This makes him the only voice actor for the character to have reprised the role in the 2021 series (Clumsy Smurf and Brainy Smurf do not count, as they have their historical Italian voice actors, Fabrizio Mazzotta for Clumsy who also voiced Krusty the Clown and Marco Guadagno for Brainy who also voiced Arnim Zola in MCU) and he was chosen by the Peyo Company itself
