Now with the upcoming season Trailer out, what are you most exited about for New Blood? USA Season 5!

I like that they are incorporating arrival by Train, after seeing them previously arrive by car.

This goes in line with Traitors Canada and UK, and highlights that they really want to ensure we get to meet the cast before they even get to the castle.

Let memorable moments from pre-game get used at the first round table, so they can deduce who is most likely to want to be a Traitor.

See if people who have a specific career stand out (and that’s if they are being honest with everyone else).

Let the surprise twists we don’t even know about really get us!

For the past couple of seasons there has been a Day 1 twist to the game rules.

Boston Rob and Donna Kelce come to mind.

Share your thoughts, and if it feels as exciting as prior seasons!

I can't stand Rob

And all I'm seeing in here is everybody Glaaaazing him! Maybe it's because i don't know where he's from originally. I'm cool with him betraying the Faithfuls but he had a hand in getting out all of his fellow Traitors. Wish there was a rule about that. I know nobody will agree and I'm super late in watching it but I had to voice my irritation somewhere. It'd have been nice if he at least shared it with Eric at the end... About to watch the reunion now. Hope everybody lights him up. (I know it's "just a game" but jeez...)

I’m looking at you Molly and Maura 👀. Tbh I can’t be too mad at Maura, Rob is old school Hollywood fine. He’s always reminded me of Pau Newman

Which season should I give a shot?

I'm very new to reality tv as I just watched love island season 8 which was my first ever reality tv experience ever and I loved it a lot! However, since I dont have the time to invest into all seasons of a reality show, given their lengths, I wanna watch the best of what the traitors has to offer because I love the setting.

Which season would you recommend to someone that's sort of considered the peak of the show or really enjoyable for someone who's only in it for 1 season?

Playtesters Needed! THE DETECTIVE: a social deduction mystery game. Traitors x Clue x Carmen Sandiego x Guess Who?

Hi r/TheTraitorsUS! I'm looking for a small group of playtesters for my new game, The Detective. It's a single-player social deduction mystery game inspired by the game show, The Traitors. I've spent close to a year and a half on it and I'm ready to test it out on actual players!

THE GAME:

You oversee a randomly chosen, rotating cast of characters, some of whom have been secretly chosen to be Killers amongst the group. Your job is to identify the Killers and help the Innocents make their way to the end of the game.

Each day, you'll play mini-games to earn Tokens. These Tokens will help you unlock clues about the identities of The Killers. Use the clues to narrow down the suspects. Clear a suspect and maybe they'll align with you to help knock out the Killers.

Each evening, a secret vote will be held and the player with the most votes, Killer or not, will be eliminated from the game. Each night, the Killers murder another victim (or recruit an Innocent to their side of evil). Deduce who the Killers are and eliminate them during the endgame to claim victory for you and the surviving Innocents.

WHAT I NEED:

I need a small group of playtesters. As of now, this is Windows only. Each game is anywhere from 30-60 minutes. The more you play and get to know the game, the quicker the games will be. For now, distribution is through itch.io, so you will need an account there.. and I'm using Discord for all playtest chatter, so having a Discord account is also mandatory. If you're a fan of the genre and think you'd be able to help out, please click the Google Form link below and sign up. The form is quick and easy and will only take a minute to fill out.

PLAYTESTERS:

If chosen, you will be added to the playtest Discord. You'll be given the itch.io key to download the game. I'm asking for bug reports, suggestions, basically anything you feel would be useful information for me moving forward. Even if that information is that you didn't have fun and didn't like the game at all.

In return for your help, this game will be free to you permanently. Eventually, The Detective will move to Steam for sale, but you'll be given a free key to all versions and any DLC, should we get to that stage.

Who would have done better if cast on a different season? Maybe the lost to a season twist, or had a tougher cast (especially in the turret). Name & Season # + Season # they would have done better in

For example, would Pavarti of Season 2 have done better in Season 1, if she didn’t have to deal with Dan’s misplays?

She would have been able to outplay all of the other Traitors on S1, and Cirie and her have a mutual respect for eachother, that I doubt she would have not shared the $ with her, even if she was recruited.

This mutual respect was shown even in Pavarti’s speech on Australia vs the World’s final tribal council where she says she wishes Cirie had been in the top 3 with her.

She knows Pavarti would work the civilian cast just as well as Cirie, and Cirie would have not taken the risk of her outing her in a pouch reveal speech, vote reveal speech, and banishment speech, because unlike Arie, Pavarti would not have quit the game.

Cirie would play it off as they are equals, but the truth is, Pavarti would only lose with Cirie losing as well, and would only win with Pavarti.

Pavarti simply wouldn’t turn on Cirie, not because she needs her, but because she is loyal and would not want to.

The Traitors Season 5 All-Stars

This would be my fantasy cast for an all-stars season. What do you think? Who would you add and who would you take off. Also I know Johnny Bananas isn’t all-star worthy but I wanted to give him a second chance to play the game like Dorinda. Finally who would be the 3-4 traitors?

Which roundtable moment lives in your head rent free? Any season, any reason!

Was it right during a heated exchange that tilted the banishment, such as Michael Rappaport vs Colton?

How about Pilot Pete vs Phaedra?

What about a candid moment people didn’t expect, like Dolores’ fake-out with Britney’s vote to Danielle?

Or even Johnny & Tara revealing they are a unified voting block against anyone they suspect?

It could even be a funny moment when someone says “Britney — You Did It Again!”
