I was honestly so scared to inject myself because I've never done it before. 😅 But thanks to the tips I found here and the videos my supplier provided, I was able to do it last night.

Surprisingly, it wasn't painful at all. Parang may sumagi lang na matulis for a split second, then wala na. I was expecting it to hurt hahaha.

So far, the only thing I've noticed is parang nilalamig ako. Hindi nawawala yung chills, pero hindi naman sobrang lala. This morning, I ate my usual breakfast with brown rice, but I didn't even crave dessert afterward—which is surprising because I always want something sweet after meals. 😂

I honestly expected I'd feel nauseous or even throw up after my first shot, but so far, wala naman. I guess it really depends on how your body responds.

Kayo, ano usually yung na-experience niyo after your very first injection? Did you have chills too? Is that normal?

PS: I did consult a doctor first, had my lab tests done, and was prescribed Mounjaro. Unfortunately, it's way beyond my budget right now, so I decided to try compounded tirzepatide for the meantime, fully aware of the risks.

Hey guys! Here's my 8-month progress so far using Tirzepatide.

Quick recap: I'm diabetic, hypertensive, hyperuric, high cholesterol, MAFLD, Morbidly obese when I started my Glp-1 treatment. I'm using compounded tirzepatide and has never gone above 5mg in my dose.

I did my routine blood tests and the results are in:

 HBA1C - 5.2

 Slight iron deficiency

Slightly elevated uric acid

 Slightly elevated cholesterol

Lab Results:

Let's start with the labs, my endo is really happy with my blood chemistry and my treatment results in general.

The iron deficiency he says can be corrected through diet by eating more red meat, uric is not really concerning so i wasn't put back on febuxostat. For cholesterol since there will be changes in my diet he put me back on 5mg of rosuvastatin - lowest dose. Just so i dont think about it anymore. One maintenance pill before bed is a lot better than 7 pills a day, which I was on before.

Weight Progress/ Stats:

 Current Weight: 71kg (from 116kg)

 Waist: 31.5in (from 50in)

 BMI: 24.8

 Total Weight Loss: 45kg

I'm finally done with cutting. I have reached my goal weight. I went as low as 69kg with 12.6% body fat but I didn't like it, I felt like my body was too dry, my muscles seemed small, and I felt weaker at the gym, also at the 12.6% body fat I can't sit for long periods of time anymore since my butt will hurt due to the lack of padding 😅. I gained back a few kilos to look more "full". I'm happy with the 45kg lost any my physique now is the best it has ever been.

I have completely changed my wardrobe, I went on a shopping spree one day and completely changed everything. Yes, including underwear.

I now fit Medium to Large size shirts and even small if it's oversized. This is life changing to me as I came from wearing 5XL shirts at one point, I almost exclusively shopped at maxwear and Uniqlo online because they were the only brands that carried my size.

Shopping at a mall and returning the item because it was TOO LOOSE was a completely alien feeling to me. I used to skip to the back of the rack to see how big they go in size and that usually would still be too tight for my belly.

I wear size 34 jeans now and department stores actually carry my size.

My wife has cleared my wardrobe completely of all my fat man clothes. I still sometimes look at the shirt and double take thinking "Ooh, that's waaaay too small" but end up fitting me just right.

Honest side effects

Here's the truth, shedding all this weight also had consequences.

Hairfall

I recently noticed that I have a lot of hairfall. I'm blessed to have a thick head of hair that even with all the hairfall my hair still looks ok. But I do feel it, hairline is not receeding, but the volume is just really less.

Loose Skin

Loose skin all over my body, specially in my mid section. When I say all over I mean it. Arms, thighs, belly, chin. Some of it is getting fuller, my arms are getting tight again as my biceps are getting bigger, my inner thigh has a bunch of lose skin that I sometimes feel it fold when i shift arond. But generally the loose skin doesn't concern me, It reminds me where I came from and how far I've come.

NSFW Side Effect

Because of all the weight loss, my wife and I's been the best! We could do positions I could never have imagined possible. I have more energy now in bed, and my wife tells me I grew in size 😅. So yeah, there's that.

What's Next

My doctor said that he feels like I have built a solid routine while on the medication, my food habits changedI'm slowly tapering off the medication. My doctor has actually allowed me to go down to 2.5mg weekly. I tried it for 2 weeks but the revenge hunger was through the roof! I gained 3kg back in those 2 weeks 😅.

The plan now is to slowly taper off, until i finally go down to 2.5. I plan to go 4 weeks at 4mg, 4 weeks at 3mg and 4 weeks at 2.5mg. That would be right in time with my 1 year check up in october.

Final Thoughts

All in all, this medication has been life changing to me. I can

move better now, no more catching my breath every few steps, I'm not sweaty at all anymore, I feel more confident with my appearance and I'm much healthier now.

So end of this month kailangan ko na bumalik sa endo ko, I'm type 2 diabetic and I had my doctor guide me to this tirze journey although, ang ini-insist nya sa akin ay Mounjaro, I have looked into it and I just really can't afford as it's super pricey, what should I tell my doctor? She knows that I started using compounded tirze but she gave me three months to use it, until then she insist i should use mounjaro.

Anyone from Metro Manila or nearby who's willing to swap syringes? I'm looking to swap some unused, individually sealed Shungshim 31G × 8 mm insulin syringes for a different brand or needle length.

The reason is that I want to try different syringes to see which one works best with my skin. I've been getting mild injection site reactions, so I'm trying to find a brand or needle length that's a better fit.

Ang pinaka napansin ko talaga is yung simple everyday things. Mas madali na maglakad nang mabilis, umakyat ng hagdan, at yumuko-yuko without feeling pagod agad.

Hindi lang siya tungkol sa number sa timbangan. Feeling ko unti-unti ko ng nababawi yung katawan at energy ko.

Sorry noob question. Naka mounjaro kasi ako for one month and I lost 4 kgs already (diet, 5k steps thrice a week) kaso ang mahal ng mounjaro kay &you kaya I decided na mag compounded tirz na lang. Medyo nalilito ako kasi sa clock app mostly nakikita ko nagmimix pa sila ng bac water & powder. Please enlighten me. Thank you. ☺️

i’ve lost 4.2 kg over the past 3 months on tirzepatide (i may be a slow responder) 2 weeks ago i finally hit 51.5 kg (started at 55.7), but over the past week ive had a series of celebs so i ate a lot. i weighed myself this morning and i’m back up to 53.9 kg. did i just undo 3 months of progress? does that mean ive only lost 1.8 kg now, or is this likely just water weight (2.4kg of it??) kinda freaking out bc i worked so hard to get there too and stayed really active over the past 3 months

i already lost 10 kilos, which is about 10% of my body weight, throughout my tirze journey. honestly, ang bilis din. objectively, kita naman talaga ’yung results. my clothes are noticeably looser, pero ayon, hindi na gumagalaw ’yung scale lately.

Today’s 5 days before my period and napapansin ko lately i’ve been eating more and ang lala talaga ng cravings/gutom ko despite being on tirz. It’s my 4th week now and i just lost 2 kgs—minsan tumataas pa CW ko. Is this normal or should i change my supplier? 🥹

Hi! I'm 5'2 and 55-56kgs right now. I've been trying to lose weight and there are times that I lose 3-4kgs, but babalik na naman. I'm considering Tirze, but I need an honest opinion about it. Nawawal na kasi yung confidence ko with how I look like right now. :/
