My custom 1/6 scale zombie Jack Dawson action figure

This custom action figure is based on my upcoming fan made graphic novel story Titanic II: Jack Returns (I uploaded a short preview webcomic).

This 1/6 scale figure is made by me, based on my fan made sequel to Titanic. The full story is on Wattpad. The character is Jack Dawson who is brought back as a resurrected corpse from the sea, caused by a curse from a British witch who casted on him since his childhood.

I bought the clothes from a separate Jack Dawson figure on eBay, including an unpainted head sculpt. The hands came from a zombie figure in which they were sold as the hands instead. The suspenders from the pants snapped off because they were fragile, so I wrapped them around with a cotton material and painted them with dark brown, to match the original color scheme.

The shoes are different since the actual boots from the other Jack figure were sold out, and instead I bought different ones and painted them myself.

I painted him based on the way he died (hypothermia) and keeping his appearance intact despite his pale skin and milky eyes. I added dark veins around his body and covered them with a layer of the pale skin tone to make them appear almost transparent.

The cigar and fish are his own prop accessories. The cigar represents his old human habit staying with him, and the fish represents his undead diet for raw meat.

The following photos are taken at Seaport village in San Diego as a small photoshoot.

I bought an actual 1/6 Jack Dawson figure by YanToys and he scales very well alongside his undead version.

My first Titanic II artwork and it was darker

I made this drawing back in October of 2025 as a test of how Jack would look like as a resurrected corpse.

The first design was a little too much since he looks more decayed and his posture was very zombie-like.

His updated design is featured in my short webcomic “Titanic II: Jack Returns - Rebirth”.

My 3D printed 1/6 scale Titanic display stand

I bought the files online and I was able to print every piece for the past three months.

The railings were not in the files, so I bought some metal wires instead. Assembling the pieces together has been a fun experience. The paint job was very challenging but it was worth it.

The display stand is perfect for my 1/6 Jack Dawson figure by YanToys.

James Horner's score

One of the most memorable things about the film, beyond the story, historical details, special effects, etc, is the awe-inspiring score by James Horner.

I had the soundtrack CD as a teenager, and I can't tell you how many times I listened to "Southampton."

How do you feel about James Horner's score for the film? Any favorite pieces or moments in the film that moved you particularly because of the music?

P.S. I recently watched The Perfect Storm (2000) and realized Horner is the composer. It was very reminiscent of Titanic, especially with the sweeping orchestral tone at the beginning.

A theory i have long had about the film has just been confirmed for me

For the longest time, I held the belief that Rose's story was influenced by things she read about the disaster, and things she saw in movies. It not only explains why we are shown things that Rose was not a witness too, it explains why some of these scenes arent historically accurate.

Just flipped to this page while reading the illustrated screenplay, and *voila*, there it is!
