Cellular (2004)

Had this gem back on my watch list and decided to finally watch it tonight. Ahhh, it’s so good! Crazy to think this was 22 years ago. So much has changed with our cell phones! It’s wild. I’m pretty sure this is where I first fell in love with Chris Evans too!

Leonardo Dicaprio talks about the making of Titanic | Bobbie Wygant (1996)

Yeah, no. I’ll never not be in love with a young Leo. My god he was so gorgeous. 😍

“Make Each Day Count!” | From Script to Screen 🥂

I’ll never get tired of watching Titanic’s script brought to life. This quote still remains my favourite until this very day! It’s so good. Jack’s such an unbothered king the way he didn’t let Ruth’s antics affect him.

Wedgewood Ravine yesterday evening.

Since the rain everything is so lush and green. Wedgewood is such an underrated little hike. It’s 2 km round trip, so it’s short but definitely worth the walk. Although if you’re not in shape the hills can be brutal. I survived them thankfully! 😂 Has anyone gone off the beaten here? Supposedly there’s an unpaved trail that takes you down to the river.

Without a Paddle (2004)

Well, the summer season is an upon and I thought why not put on this old classic. Yeah, ‘old’ omg. I can’t even. Seriously though! I never get tired of it. It’s so quotable, funny, and has a seriously good soundtrack! I remember watching it all the time when it first came out. Idk, man. It’s just one of those stupid movies that stick with you & that you genuinely enjoy no matter how old you are.

“Tom, you were in Boy Scouts once, right?”

“No, but I ate a Brownie once!” 😂

The cultural impact of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ still resonates with audiences decades later and its powerful 🦋

Seriously! I wish I was there.

Bill Paxton as Brock Lovett is an underrated hottie 🔥

I know the discourse is always between Jack Dawson & Cal Hockley, but I think Brock Lovett deserves more love. I find myself now swooning over him too when I rewatch the movie! God, Bill Paxton was fiiine. Any other women (even men) think the same these days? Or is he more an acquired taste? I’ve loved him since Twister! 🌪️

Titanic remastered on 4K is incredibly beautiful and still remains of my favourites to this this very day

Everything just looks so clean! Even the warm colour grading by Russel Carpenter is more noticeable and we really feel the luxury and opulence of what First Class may have felt and experienced back in the day. Watching the movie just feels way more immersive now. We’re so spoiled as Titanic fanatics and I can’t complain for a single second. Titanic is a movie built for the big screen! It’s the only way you should experience it, but with our advancement in technology, we luckily can relive it all over again at home. Anyways I was watching it yesterday on Paramount+ and I was just in love with the finer details I never really noticed before because of this remaster! 😍

Has anyone been able to go out and actually watch the film? I see he’s taking it across the US and parts of Canada, but for me, at least here it’s only been in the big 2 major cities. Toronto & Vancouver. Anyways what are your thoughts? My love for him has definitely been revived. I knew he was doing this during the Pandemic so it’s even cooler that he made a movie and is bringing it more to light with the Crypto schemes. I love when celebrities use their influence for a good cause! 💗 (Jim Gordon never left the building…)

I’ve reached a lull in everything I love (or used to love) and now I feel like I’m at a stand still. How do you find something new to fixate on? I feel empty without one.
