The four levels of toast (he got a lil burnt)

This is Fox, and yes this is all the same cat. I believe he is called a Burmese. (Also, just preemptively I know cats shouldn’t have collars he only had it for about a week and I wasn’t the one to put it on him (I was like 10yo when the last pic was taken) so don’t start yelling, also not my choice to have him being indoor-outdoor for the same reason)

How well done will Pippin be?

So far I think he’s a bit under toasted! What do we think?

Toast predictions? Stay white or toast up grayish?

Anybody have a similar looking specimen to compare? TIA (adopted from a shelter. So no parents to reference to) Curious what fun fur we get to look forward to! 🤪

What kind of toast do I have?

This is Taiyō (Japanese for "sun"), probably the clingiest cat on Earth!

He’s an adorable, super affectionate 7-year-old boy. He weighs 9.5 kg (21 lbs)—so yeah, he’s a big, chunky guy! We rescued him as a kitten from a terrible fate. In Spain (my country), many people let their cats breed, and if they can’t find homes for the kittens, they often put them down.

Besides being a heavyweight champ, he has a strict daily routine of loud, non-stop meowing just to get inside, sit on my mom’s lap, and get cuddles while he purrs non-stop. He does this the exact moment we wake up, right before we go to bed, and with a little intermission in between to beg for food (sometimes he meows for literally hours and hours). Still, he’s one of the most loving cats I've ever had. He adores hugs, kisses, and any kind of affection, and he shows his appreciation with these funny little groans of pure bliss.

I’d love to know what breed or coat pattern you think he might be. Here is some proof of how much he’s changed over the years!

Cheers from Spain!

My Siamese rescue is toasting well

My girl has toasted beautifully! The first picture is her at 2-3 months old. The second two are her at 4 months old. The one on the scale, she was very sick with FIP. The last two are recent, at 1yo. All were taken in the summer, in Florida. I can’t wait to see how dark she gets each year. Please share your toasted babies with me!

Reverse toast: Show me your kittens who turned out like my Oleander!

Oleander is our roasty toasty boy. We rescued him from the streets (see photo of him in the flowers), so never got a chance to see his coloring as a kitten. Does anyone have kitten photos of their Siamese of similar coloring? I would love to have an idea of what Ollie looked like as a baby. Thanks!

My baby boy is now fully toasted!

My handsome boy Ollie just turned over a year old! He's still an absolute menace but he's too precious so he gets away with it 😅

Edit: I just noticed my calico staring in the background of the 3rd pic 😂

We’re picking up our new rescue baby, Sophie, on Friday and couldn’t be more excited! She started out very light, but has gotten so dark already and she is only about 12 weeks old. Do you think she will be fully toasted once full grown?

White Baby No More

The last two pictures are from today, Toeby is currently a little over 1y 3m and he’s gotten so toasty! He’s also a big boy at 14.3lbs despite being a healthy body score ☺️

What kind of toast cat is my Lily?

I’ve had Lily for about 12 years. She was a stray we found and her coat was much lighter when found. This picture is of her recently. I’ve been told she is everything from a tortoise shell cat, a torbie, and a snowshoe cat but I am not quite sure. What do you think?
