FOP is so disappointing when taking action against cheating, considering how profs are very strict about it during orientation week

I expected more action from professors when it comes to cheating, but what the heck? Reported multiple times to different profs, some even caught them red-handed, pero walang ginawa? Lakas mang threaten na irereport sa SWDB pero the time na may nagcheat, hindi inaaksyunan?

Nakakahiya knowing na valedictorian ka from your batch, but when you cheat in class, parang sanay na sanay. Gawain na before girl? Baka pati pagkavaledictorian mo galing sa duga din, awat naman. Kahiya nandamay ka pa ng ibang tao kasi naglalabas ka ng cellphone tuwing quizzes. Pati madadaling subjects di pinatawad.

Nakakainis lang na after mong magpagod, magpuyat, at gapangin ang Pharma, may isang student lang na itatago phone sa jacket or bag tas easy ai. Nakakahiya ka girl, and almost all of your classmates already know about it. Di lang ganda ang ineefortan ha, grades din sana.

Hello! I have a blockmate who is and has been caught cheating on quizzes by some professors and us classmates. There has been little to no action done on the professors' side so we might have to take matters into our own hands. We can also only rely on eye-witness reports since we can't catch evidence during quizzes because we are not allowed to use our phones. What steps can we take to file a report?

does any1 here know the process of shifting from faculty of arts (behsci) & letters to college of science (psych) ?

passed my alternative course behsci but i rlly wanna pursue psych and ust so now im thinking to js enroll in behsci then if i don't like it i'll shift to psych after my first year if that's possible : ((

however im planning to apply for r3con (psych) this month but being accepted is not promised talaga n im scared i won't be able to study in ust cuz im risking my slot in behsci

I'm a graduating student (Batch 2026) and I was not able to meet the deadline for the thomasian alumni ticket.

Can I still enter the campus (at all) and go to the central library after I graduate? It's the one place that I consider my second home in the entire campus. I'm just wondering since I'll probably miss that place.

so i’ve been seriously thinking about taking pharmacy sa ust and honestly, super excited na ako maging thomasian 😅 pero may ilang tanong lang na di ko ma-get off my head:

1. choice regret? hindi ko ba pagsisisihan na ust ang pinili ko for pharma? hindi siya yung first choice ko dati, pero isa siya sa programs na tinitingnan ko.

2. uniform fitting this sat: may fitting of uniforms kasi soon. need ba namin bilhin agad or just checking sizes lang?

3. scholarships: galante ba sila sa scholarships kapag nag-aaral ka na mismo?

gusto ko talaga maging part ng ust, however these questions are kinda bugging me. any advice or personal experience would be super appreciated!

hi! incoming freshie here 🥹 i live around 1–2 hours away from ust and medyo kinakabahan lang sa magiging routine ko as a commuter 😭
for current ust students na malayo rin ang commute, what does your daily routine usually look like? like:

- what time do you leave home?
- how do you manage studying/rest?
- do you stay on campus between classes?
- nakakaya naman ba yung workload + commute?

Context: I graduated as the valedictorian and passed UPLB and UST—my dream universities.

I got into UPLB’s DevComm and LegMa naman sa UST.

DevComm is my first choice in elbi while alt prog naman ang LegMa sa UST pero nung nalaman ko na doon ako nakapasa instead na sa prio choice ko, mas natuwa ako kasi mas aligned siya sa law—yes, I plan to go to law school after college.

DevComm is close to my heart and I’ve been manifesting it. LegMa naman however, is the program I’m eyeing right now since advantageous siya before LS. Gusto ko rin non kasi I like to be challenged and I want to be prepared and familiar sa type of environment na meron sa LS.

My mind goes like this now:

UP- I’m passionate about DevComm and it’s literally UP

UST- I reallyyy like the program and would motivate me more to pursue law

Another thing, I applied to Bagong Pilipinas Merit Scholarship Program (UPLB DevComm) and heard na nagsesend na sila ng rejection letter. Wala pa akong natatanggap na update and they said na mataas ang chance na pasado dahil nagrerejct na ang Region IV-A.

Sa UST naman, I’m planning to apply for Sto. Tomas Scholarship (100% free tuition)

Sobrang indecisive ko to the point na gusto kong aralin ang both program in both university lol. Also, we are from lower middle class kaya uhaw talaga ko sa scholarships to support my study.

Please help me in choosing 🥲

If both of these are true and the candidate is unopposed, then if the election succeeds, they are automatically the winner of the position. Thus the only way to not seat the candidate is through failure of elections.

The elections are literally a farce, like I said 1 month ago, let the elections fail. It almost failed nga eh they extended it a lil to get over the minimum number of required votes lol.
