My daughter turns 2 next month so need suggestions of which ones to buy for her birthday.

Her favorite is Ms Rachel, so would love others similar that are a combo of music and interaction.
She also loves the Elsa tonie but I wish she would lose it lol.

We have the puppy dog and winnie the pooh, and those are hit or miss for her

so, is there a good way to do it? cause i’ve been doing it what i call “2000’s ringtone style” and recording it playing on my laptop

Hi! So we all know the Disney tonies suck because most don’t contain the original soundtracks. I’ve been calculating which would be the simplest/most cost-effective way to create custom Disney tonies while still being aesthetically pleasing instead of settling for the creative tonie kid in pj’s 😜

Option 1: Franken Tonies (Original Tonies + Creative Tonies)
Purchasing original tonies at original price + custom tonies to remove original chip works out to ~ $30/tonie🤑 and quite a bit of work researching where original chips are located & removing creative chips without damaging.

Option 2: Magic Tonies (Toys + Creative Chip)
Purchasing Disney play sets to create magic tonies by drilling/inserting creative tonies chips works out to ~ $10-12/tonie which is cheaper but requires quite a bit of work to drill into toys/remove creative Tonie chips without damaging.

Option 3: Lazy - but more expensive - Magic Tonies (Toys + Creative Bases from Etsy)
Purchasing Disney play sets as well as purchasing creative tonie bases which are ~$25 on Etsy so total cost would be ~$30 like Franken Tonies. Simpler yet still expensive option.

*Option 4: Teddycloud vs Teddybench + NFC Tags
I am most interested in this option but also most intimidated by this option because it requires a bit of IT work it seems and I’m also worried I’m going to screw up my Toniebox altogether 😆 I’ve tried reading through other subs as well as the website and forum of the German hackers but I’d like to know if there’s someone out there that can explain the process step-by-step in laymen’s terms?
I can’t remember if Teddybench or Teddycloud was easier to use to hack the Toniebox. I’m also not even sure if my box is still eligible for this firmware or if the firmware is still available (I purchased my Toniebox 1 in 2025). I just want to make sure before I invest time/money into figuring out install and purchasing any NFC tags.

I am a new mom and would like the simplest (of option 4), most cost-effective way possible😅. So my questions are:

Which is easier - Teddybench or Teddycloud?
Can anyone direct me towards any super simple video or website step-by-step tutorials?
Can you only buy NFC tags from the one guy linked from the german hacker’s blog?
Can you attach/conceal NFC tags onto Disney toys to resemble the function of an original Disney Tonie? Or is it just those coin cover things?

Our faithful Tonie Box 1 died this week after 2.5 years of daily use. We want to replace is but I’m wondering if we should upgrade to the Tonie Box 2 or not. My kids are 2 and almost 5. Are the games worth it?

I got my Raffi the day it released but I just went to target and there are tons of them. I know people were having a hard time getting them.

wtf is up with all the random songs in the beginning? my kids love the story but they rarely ever have the patience to get through all that. we just started it and turn the volume all the way down for 10 mins wbile waiting for the story part to come on.

So I have kids that are older, my eldest is almost an adult and my youngest starts high school next year so we do not own a Tonie Box....in fact I had never even heard of a Tonie Box until my sister in law said my niece now has one and loves it and so if we need gift ideas, Tonie characters are appreciated.

I thought "Ok great! Easy!" But there are SO MANY choices. Omg. So many...she's only 1 so she can't talk yet. What Tonie Characters do your toddlers like best? She already has Ms Rachel, Winnie the Pooh, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Kermit, Peter Rabbit, a Tonie character fox and a Tonie character cat one. So I'm trying to decide which ones to get...my niece is my brother and sister in law's first baby and there's a huge age gap between children in our family so they're not sure and I'm not sure... please help with any Tonie Character suggestions 😅

My 2 year old got a Tonie Box 2 for her birthday so I’m new to the Tonie game. She loves music but what are some favorites of your 2 year olds that have music with them. She got the Ms. Rachel Tonie so we have that one. Thank you!

I purchased it April 24th on Amazon (sold by ToniesUS) and it said it would be received May 13-28 but there hasn't been any update on it yet so I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Okay so this is weird. We just got a new Mickey tonie literally yesterday and it was working initially. Today we put it on the Toniebox and it didn't play. Tried resetting the box, updating the app, deleting the Tonie etc. Nothing worked. We tried other Tonies and that's when we realized there were a few others that didn't work either.

After some more troubleshooting and just trying random things, we noticed that those ones that weren't playing DID play as long as they were laying on their side. When they were upright and connected to the magnet they didn't play or register. Only when laying on their side.

Some of them (most of them even) work normally. But even the one we just purchased yesterday seems to have this issue.

Any ideas? 🤔

We have a toniebox2 and a yoto player. We travel too much Bulgaria every summer, and I always try to snag some EU only yoto cards. This is our first year with a toniebox, and I was wondering if there were EU specific tonies we should try to snag while there?
