Bearings , cv axles , calipers

I’m replacing my cv axles and calipers but I don’t if I should I replace my bearings as well I have a 97 4x4 if so what kit do I need or I can just go get autozone ones also for the bolts on the rear of the cv axles I’m having a hard time getting them off because the axle is moving should I just get a impact

Tire recommendations?

I have a ‘98 4wd T100 SR5 and I’m looking for tire recommendations! I daily it but I also do occasionally off-road it. Currently has some Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2’s on it. What’s everyone running on theirs?

I got the wheels off but found that my calipers were seized any recommendations I don’t want to spend almost $400 on Oem (97 4x4 )

Bed tie down or rail system recommendations

Hello! I have a ‘98 4wd sr5 T100 with the original factory hard plastic bed liner. Currently have a toolbox on her too. I realized this weekend I only have 2 tie down spots in the corners of the bed by the tailgate! I’m looking for any suggestion for tie down hooks, rail systems or anything else I could install that would play nice with my bed liner. Or if anyone has any recommendations for work arounds! I eventually would like a camper shell but that feels like it’s going to take a while to make happen. (Accessories for these aren’t exactly a dime a dozen.)

Flatbed pt.2

Removed the boxes and added a bumper to it. Surprisingly i got 20mpg on my way from the bay to pismo beach and average 15.5 mpg for commuting 35 miles everyday.

I do love this truck but may trade it for a v8 4runner with family friends.

Odd ticking noise

I’m looking to buy a ‘97 T100 and the seller has this video posted to show a noise that is present. Has anybody diagnosed this noise before? Seems to happen only at idle.

T100 1998

Hey guys looking around in the market for a 1st gen Tacoma or a t100 and had some questions as far price goes.
Recently saw a post on marketplace for a 1998 t100 sr5 4wd with 345,000 miles they are asking for $4000. Would that be a good price or nah just nervous since it has so many miles. Also the seller said they had the top half of the engine rebuilt but not the bottom half and when doing a test run it had a low oil pressure but they said it was normal and fluctuates.

270k miles got for cheap and fixed it up as a work truck it’s pretty fun especially with the five speed
