Some time ago, someone in this subreddit asked people for their top 5 favorite apostles; I didn't reply to that post back then - I can't recall why. But today, I want to share my top 5 list and talk a bit more about Hailey.

It’s no secret to anyone active in this community just how fiercely my tender heart burns with love for Vivi. I could rephrase what I’ve written many times before, but I’ll spare you that.
I’ve also frequently mentioned Erpin and the fact that I’m ready to tear apart anyone who dares to insult her.
I once wrote a post about my intention to marry Frickle, and those plans haven't changed.
But today, I want to talk about Haley.

I like Haley because I can see myself in her;

I’m also a war veteran and a former frontline officer,

but most importantly:

These were a few of the most popular Ukrainian phrases meaning "I'm losing my mind."

My PTSD manifests quite differently from Haley’s, of course. I don’t have flashbacks; I’m simply triggered by certain sounds. When I hear a motorcycle or a car without a muffler, my first thought is, "That’s a drone flying in to hit me," and only then do I think, "God, I hate those fuckers on their loud-ass bikes." Also, any loud, sharp noise registers as an explosion to me - though, ironically, actual explosions don’t trigger me. This morning, while I was having breakfast, two ballistic missiles landed nearby; the windows in my apartment were shaking violently, yet I didn’t even react. Maybe my brain is triggered by unfamiliar sounds that could signal a threat?

And of course, I’m also a beauty with long red hair in a military uniform. Except my hair is black, and unfortunately, I no longer wear a military uniform.

And I decided to write this all out because the Haley's event is coming up next, and I’m really looking forward to it.
