[Help] Leg Safety - OEM Engine guards vs Leg guards?

Hello,
I had a question do OEM guard (Engine upper + lower combined) is safe when it comes to protecting legs or do you suggest an aftermarket Leg guard?

I saw many videos online where people highly recommend Leg/Crash guard for riders safety.

All it take is 30/- rs

Hero to the rescue.

I see many over developed products for scram, just install a cheap mudflap instead of 3d printed overrated, overpriced products!

My first big purchase, Scrambler 350X

Gifted myself my dream bike. My first bike at 24🥂 Completed my first 50 km ride yesterday, from the showroom to my home and I loved every bit of it.

I am really impressed with the low-end torque. The bike doesn't stall even in 4th gear without any throttle input and cruises smoothly at around 20 km/h. The clutch feel is excellent, the riding stance is great, and the seating position is very comfortable. Loving every bit of this machine.

An absolute eye candy. 😍

Speed 400 rear brake pads worn out at just 2,100 km – Need replacement suggestions

My Triumph Speed 400 is just 2,100 km old, and the rear brake pads are already completely worn out. I wasn’t expecting them to wear this quickly.
Looking for suggestions on:
Which rear brake pads should I get?
Has anyone else faced such early wear on the Speed 400?
I mostly ride in city traffic with occasional highway runs. Would appreciate your recommendations and experiences. Thanks!

Unexpected lesson after my Speed 400 was hit: I prefer it over the MT-07

My beloved Speed 400 got hit while it was parked, so it's currently in the shop getting repaired. In the meantime, I rented a 2025 MT-07, and honestly... it made me appreciate my Speed 400 even more.

Don't get me wrong, the MT-07 is obviously the more powerful bike, but performance isn't the thing I value most. In pretty much every other area, I actually prefer the Speed 400.

The build quality feels noticeably better, which is impressive considering it's a smaller bike built in India. So many little details are better thought out. For example, the kickstand gives a very clear indication when it's fully extended, unlike the MT-07. The turn signal switch is more intuitive, the gearbox feels smoother, and the engine is more refined at lower speeds.

Before this, I was considering upgrading to a Yamaha one day. After spending some time with the MT-07, I'm definitely sticking with Triumph. This is actually the second Yamaha I've ridden, and I had the same impression the first time. I wasn't sure if it was because that bike was older, but now I think it's just my preference.

I can definitely understand why the Speed 400 has been such a success over the last couple of years. It's not the fastest bike in its class, but the overall riding experience and attention to detail make it feel like a really well-engineered motorcycle.

Has anyone else gone from a bigger bike back to a Speed 400 and felt the same way?

Are we ever going to get some moderation here?

Hey everyone, I’ve been noticing that this sub has become pretty cluttered lately. I joined this community hoping to see more technical discussions, mods, and actual riding content for the 400s.

Instead, it’s mostly just "new bike" photos, basic questions that are covered in the manual (indicator fog, broken levers, mystery dash icons), and just general spam. Is there any active moderation here? Can we steer this back to a more useful, community-driven space rather than a daily feed of minor issues that could be solved with a quick Google search.

Fork raisers on Scrambler 400X

https://preview.redd.it/gefe69xo25bh1.png?width=1232&format=png&auto=webp&s=a00245e87b03a49c276d00a31736d7de2698eada

[DISCLAIMER 1: This is by no means a sponsored post. All mods that I have installed on my bike is purchased with my own money and all of my opinions are honest and will remain the same throughout the ownership of this beautiful machine

Disclaimer 2: If you choose to install risers like I did after reading this post, you do so entirely at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage, warranty issues, or any other direct or indirect consequences resulting from the installation of these risers. Please do your own research before proceeding.]

I've been bugged with the Scrambler 400X's height for quite some time and it just never really "clicked" for me. Especially with the high mudguard, the bike felt like it was more of a wannabe scrambler in a commuter, street-focused bike even though the hardware for it to be a scrambler is there.

so I was browsing through online and I came across Forscher Customs who make fork raisers to solve exactly that.

The raisers themselves are CNC machined aluminium mounts that screw right on top of the fork inside (yes the stock fork cap has to be removed to fit this) and once that's installed, the forks can be raised cleanly and it sits flush in the mounts.

Q: How much of height increase can be accomodated?
A: Since the S400X/XC already comes with 0.5 inches of forks sticking out and doesnt fit flush, and the raisers themselves are about 1.2 inches, the total maximum achievable height difference would be about 1.7 inches, although it is fully adjustable to your liking.

Q: Does it change the riding posture?
A: Yes it does change the riding posture, you do sit a lot more relaxed and upright. I've tried it in a mix of offroad as well as onroad for the past 100 km and so far I've enjoyed it.

Q: Does seat height change very much?
A: There is a very very mild difference in seat height, in very few circumstances I cant fully flatfoot, otherwise it feels almost the same.

In my opinion, the raisers are worth it if you have high mudguard installed/planning to get high mudguard. If you are having the stock mudguard, the stock suspension setup looks better that way.

throw in your burning questions down the comments and I'll answer them.

Blud installed scrambler's exhaust and Speed 400's handlebar 💀

If I have that budget for customisation I would install the Black USD from Thruxton/Tracker 👀

Wich part would you like to install fom other Triumph family of bikes for your bike.
