I was doing down hill on neutral ( which is not to be done, engine braking is must ) just to check my brakes are working better than before i used a local break pad - ₹160 rupees after few kms the brakes weren’t functioning i stopped went to check the rotor had dark brownish color which metals usually have when its hot and the caliper was giving a burnt rubber smell after a min or 2 the brakes were back to normal
Is this because of a cheap disk pads or is it something else ?

How actual is the kms range in 400cc
Please let me know if your guys have ever tried to really check it
Does it actually go 100 when it says 100 or just 80-90 kms ?

Whenever you park your bike over night the pads tends to sit/ relax on the rotor/disc plate, in the morning try checking by pulling the outer single rear pad from your finger tip if its a bit loose its good but if you dont get a bit of play on the pads you might end up changing the pads with a worn out rotor in only 3700 kms

This issue is only on the rear calipers
I noticed the issue when no pads were left in the rear
It was a pad-less situation for me

Is it possible to mod the disk plate and fit any galfer or something like that in the bike, what actually fits in the bike ? does anyone have done this mod ? Is it worth it ?

I just changed my first rear break pads on 3743 kms
I could have changed it in showroom but i choosed my nearby mechanic guy reason the price is way too much in showroom and they would eat up an entire hour
I changed to a normal organic pads which costed me ₹120/- with installation
I am gonna check whether it does the job
What you guys have to say about this

I took it for a 100 kms stretch
At 3:30 in the morning i pushed off gave a good time to warm her up but on first 20 kms she behaved like she lacked something the punch the power but she was good after 20 kms

Does this mean she needs to warm up good for a fun ride or its something else or is it just normal ?
