Slammed or lifted trucks? And why

Essentially I’m just writing a paper and would like a “general” idea of why people like what they like.

I personally prefer my trucks stock all day, but if I got to choose I’d go slammed over even a slight lift. I just do not like the look of lifts and trucks with (especially major) lifts seem like they’d be a pain to operate and maneuver.

Picture taken off of google for attention grab. I’m interested in hearing opinions.

Seat cushion recommendations for an F-350 bench seat?

My F-350 is a pure work truck, with few concessions to comfort. The bench seat probably wasn't great when it was new 20 years ago and it hasn't gotten any better. On occasion I'm in that seat 10-12 hours a day. Can anyone suggest a seat cushion that isn't so thick I'm bumping my head on the ceiling or sliding off the side, that still provides enough cushioning to spare my butt and my back?

No hate, but what’s the appeal in 6+ inch lifts and rubberbands?

Image is for reference.

I see no reason as to why somebody would like this as somebody who really like trucks/cars and is understandable on terms of opinion. You can have huge tires and a huge lift, or small tires and a small lift but why small tires and a high lift? You ruin your ride quality which as a leaf-spring lover, I definitely don’t need ride quality but just why this much?

I do SORT OF understand how this might seem cool to some people, such as extreme negative camber for cars but with this you could genuinely roll over if you steer too hard.

Then there’s the offroad capability… yep nope horrible. Towing? Good luck with the hitch.

Now, I repeat, NO HATE! I understand, people have their own opinions and I too love large lifts but 6+ on rubberbands is just… something.

How can I make this transfer pump not hit my toolbox

I’ve been trying to brain storm on how to not have my transfer tank hit my toolbox but the only thing I’ve thought of is having the nozzle pointing up. I don’t want to unhook it from the spot it’s on because I like that it’s like this, looks better.

Why do people like squatted trucks?

I dont understand it. You cant see a damn thing out of it because the front is lifted, and only gay people with backwards hats and pit viper sunglasses on

Are SUVs allowed on this sub?? Are they technically trucks?

Some I can understand, like the excursion. Others like the Jeep, Expedition, and Escalade, I don’t know. What are yall’s opinion on this??

Help settle this truck bed question

Check out the photos. In summer, which position would be ‘correct’ for transport?

I’ve normally used the position that is against the cab, but some have said that they need to be against the tailgate for better airflow. One guy said that it’s “cab in the winter and tailgate in the summer”, but others have said they always just put them against the cab.

It’s starting to warm up in NC and I just want to make sure everyone is ok. It’ll be 91 this weekend.

For reference, I’m using 2 XL Gunner Kennels in a Chevrolet 2500. The Gunner kennels do have the fan kits, and the dogs are two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.

Trying to track down Dad's old truck

Hello everyone. My dad died about 10 years ago and I'm trying to track his old truck down. Last time anyone heard about it, was impounded by the city. Its probably been sold already, but if I can track down the new owner that would be cool. This is the only picture I have of it, can anyone tell me the year, make & model?
