Clean condition 250K + miles 25 year old trucks...
Pic is added because the sub wouldn't allow me to post just text. however the screenshot still depicts what I'm referencing.
Which one of y'all buying or replying to the ads posted of 20-25 plus years Gen 2-3 rams and fords with 200-250K + miles in " good condition". asking 20-25K? Inflation blah blah, but who's buyin that?.... I can already see in the comments - but who knows what it sells for. I'm seeing them listed left and right and clapped out ones for 15K+. Some ads sit forever but who's even entertaining that they they start asking that high.
And don't get me wrong, some vehicles are restored with built motors, redone chassis and suspensions, interiors, paint etc but thats a whole different market than a run down POS. somebody help me with some sanity.
17. First truck. I know it's tacoing or whatever. Just wanna see what people think of it.
I just wanted to post my first truck and wanted feedback on it.
Reducing Wake Behind My Truck
Dont know why im getting downvoted by people for this. The topper only weighs 150lbs or so. The truck has a 1200lb bed limit, its the biggest and most capable ranger built before the new body style. I just wanted some help not criticism about how my truck sucks from people who drive better things.
Picked up this old midrise fiberglass shell for my ranger, unfortunately hes a 4 banger, and I'm noticing already that the drag makes this thing feel a lot slower than it already is. I've hauled some pretty heavy stuff (primarily large HVAC units) in the bed, and I know it's not just the weight. It feels a LOT slower.
That being said, I really wanna try to break up the drag pocket I know this thing is causing behind me, and I really would appreciate some ideas and insight because I want to keep this thing on and not have to take it off all the time.
Got it in 2000, treated me well ever since
It’s not squatted, just where I am parked the drivers side is higher than the passenger side
How should I unsquat truck?
Just bought this thing, how would I best go about getting rid of the godawful squat? For reference tires are 255/55/r22. And would previous gen 16.5” stocks fit on it?
Gas station truck spotting
Check out what I seen in the wild this afternoon in Parkville... This International had such a sweet sound and stance, I had to take a closer look... What did you spot today?
Just baught my first truck :) 2011 GMC sierra 1500 only 35k miles
Help identifying my Italian great-grandfather's truck (1920s-1930s?)
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to identify the make and model of a truck in an old family photo of my Italian great-grandfather. Based on the visible details, I believe it dates from somewhere between the late 1910s and the 1930s.
Unfortunately there's no visible manufacturer badge or radiator emblem I can make out clearly.
Any help identifying the make/model, or even just narrowing down the approximate year, would mean a lot. This truck was likely used by my great-grandfather for his work, and I'd love to learn more about this piece of family history.
Thank you in advance!
Edit : Berliet CBAC 1929
Just bought my first truck, anyone got any ideas on what I get to make it look a little more aggressive?
I made a new encounter in the kundelungu National Park 🇨🇩
In a moment of panic and stress due to a mechanical breakdown, I met a curious little monkey 🐒 who stole my eggs 🤣 it was unexpected. I took the opportunity to take souvenir photos, it doesn't happen twice.
Hey crew stupid question im confused will this rough country lift fit? My truck is a 04 gmc sierra 1500 the site knows that and says it will fit but then fitment notes says it won't ?
Questions about structural integrity of hitches
I just purchased a 3rd gen ram 3500, I plan on hauling about 14k lbs with the gooseneck and two SXSs on a 24ft bumper pull semi frequently. Does this look sturdy enough? I know I need to get hookups for chains welded on before anyone says anything 😂
American 5-arm Trilex-like
Does it work like the European 6-arm Trilex? Is the rim divided into segments for easier tire change?
Did any of you ever run one of these?
I'm questioning how it would work. Does the driver turn it over to an engineer? It could not be as efficient as a standard train, which is probably one of the many reasons I can think of that would kill this. Just putting the consist (all the trailers) together with those special wheel assemblies had to be time consuming. Intermodal is so much faster.
