I'm driving a 2017 f150 and every door has an alert if it's ajar. The tailgate however doesn't. After a Christmas even with the truck bed full of gifts for and from the family and an errant tailgate closure in my old Nissan and im left with some paranoia. Has anyone installed or found a decent way to alert themselves from the driver seat if the tailgate is still open or drops while driving? Seems stupid, but my rear view doesn't allow me to see the tailgate and it's since happened on my way home from camping after hitting some gnarly dirt roads.

Last week I was gearing up for my first trip out, the wife and I were headed to assateague md. I couldn't find my rods. I checked all over and even phoned some friends to see if I had lent them any, nope. I'm convinced at this point they got stolen off my back porch at some point last year. A big old North Carolina heaver, and a couple penn fierce combos in various sizes.

So now I'm rebuilding, I have an obx trip in August so I'm looking at a month or so to round things out and I'm looking for recommendations. I have a squall 2reel en route but that's about it.

Any good spots to buy used?

How would you prioritize your set ups?

I'd love to just repurchase the kit I had, but that's absolutely not in the budget, I built it up over the better part of 15 years.

June is coming up and pride is in the air. What has been the spot in past years? I know the parade is changing this year, any new spots along that route anyone will be hitting? As a Gemini I'm always looking forward to this time of year, what's the plan?
