Period late by 5 days. Trying to conceive. When should I do the pregnancy test?

I am 40, amh is 0.16 (i know it is very low) and we are trying to conceive. Now the doctor has given me thyronorm 50 (tsh was 4) and some vitamin D and some more supplements. Have been taking these since the last 7 to 8 days. I am always very regular on my periods, average cycle length is 27 days. (Only once last year it was 49 days) else im always super regular. I was expecting my periods on 16th May. But no sign of that till now. Has the 7 to 8 days of thyroid medicine put my period off gear or am I pregnant? So when should I do the pregnancy test? Has anyone been through something similar?

Should I keep trying or start again from next cycle?

It has been draining to keep doing these tests and getting consistently low results. It was my first time trying these LH strips.
My cycle length has been 26-28 days with regular cycles of 2-3 days.

Husband Feels Scared to Start TTC, but I am 1000% Ready

My husband (32M) and I (29F) got married in February after 6 years together. We’re financially stable, both employed, and overall in a good place in life. I’ve always loved kids (I work in and studied early childhood education), and since we started wedding planning, I’ve been hit with MAD baby fever.

His family members are super religious Catholics (we’re both not really). But as a formality, we had to do the marriage prep course before our wedding in the church. And through this course, I learned all about natural family planning. I started tracking my cycles with LH strips and the Premom app. My cycles are long and inconsistent (they are anywhere between 34 and 60 days long), but I do get positive LH tests, have a regular luteal phase, and all my bloodwork/ultrasounds have come back normal.

We’ve technically been “not preventing” for about 6 cycles now, and I’ve been trying to time intercourse around ovulation, but nothing has happened for us yet.

The bigger issue is that my husband gets really anxious whenever TTC becomes a more serious convo. He keeps saying things like “we should own a house first” “we need to make more money” “we should pay off more debt first” or “we need to have more space”.

And while they’re all kinda true/valid, I also feel like nobody ever feels fully “ready” for kids. We live in Canada where home ownership is unrealistic for a lot of people anyways, renting is the norm here. We’ve both paid off so much debt in the past 6 years. I just don’t want to put my life on hold forever waiting for some perfect milestone. We can continue to grow and upgrade our lives but with our kids by our sides.

Some of our closest friends waited until they were 38/39 to even start considering TTC. I know that times are different now, couples are trying later, we have lots of modern medicine and all of these things. They’re influencing him too. But I’m not the same! I don’t want to wait another decade to consider even trying, and I’m worried we’ll have issues due to my irregular cycles or the plethora of other reasons couples can struggle. I want to deal with any issues sooner than later.

After a lot of hesitation and convincing, he’s doing a semen analysis on Friday and I’m praying everything goes well.

I genuinely think if we got pregnant, after the initial shock he’d ultimately be happy and super excited. But right now he seems stuck in fear and “what ifs.”

Has anyone dealt with a partner who was hesitant/scared to start TTC even though you felt ready? What helped?

HELP!! 1st cycle using EASY@HOME OPK currently on CD 14

I’ve usually always used clear blue digital OPK but this cycle I started easy at home. Is it possible I missed my peak and am I testing at the right time? As I got my peak with clear blue on Saturday CD12 , I have a rough 24/25 day cycle, any help or advice appreciated 🤞🏼♥️

9/10 dpo easy@home test negative

I ovulated either late May 8th or early 9Th may. So I'm at 9/10 dpo today..

I was soo impatient, I tested with easy@home and its negative, and i did it in the afternoon(4pm) I know I tested early!! What's a good day to use these tests to give accurate result (before missed period)?

Should I test this afternoon?

My LH surges so far have been, 7.5, 30, 15, and 10, so low surges in general. Today's was 13.4, so I assume that's my surge for the month. I've seen people double test on surge days. Will that possibly help me catch a high number? Any advice?

Also for TTC should we BD today or tomorrow? I'm not sure we have it in us to do both. 😂

Am I pregnant? Just curious.

I hope I am already had two miscarriages, but I waited a year apiece to try again. Hopefully this one is official. It’s all up to God‘s hands.

LH Surge but my clinic is closed

On Friday I did an ultrasound and bloodwork. I had a 16mm and 18mm on the Right side and a 15mm and 12mm on the Left. I was told to trigger Sunday night at 8:30 and we would do the IUI on Tuesday 8:30am

I took an ovulation test today and it has shown peak. My clinic is closed until Tuesday morning due to the holiday therefore I have no idea what to do.

Obviously it would be wise to have intercourse but I think Tuesday morning will be too late for the IUI. I’m hoping it won’t be but at this point there isn’t much I can do but hope for the best.

I’m just wondering if I should still use the trigger shot or just let my body continue to do things on its own. I had a feeling this would happen 😣

4-6 days late negative digital clearblue

Hi,
I an just trying to get some advice and insight. My last period started on April 11, it usually 26-28 days long and come regularly . I did have unprotected sex on the last day of my predicted fertile window. (It is not accurate predicted through flo app) since i don't know exactly when i ovulated i am approximately 4-7 days late. I currently on cycle day 34 no bleeding no spotting & cramps i took a digital clearblue on cd32 and this morning both negative should i just wait for my cycle ???
