What size and shape of base should rootshrine have?

What size and shape of base should rootshrine have?

Yesterday I started working on a custom Axolotl Root Shrine, but I’m not sure what size the base should be. In the rules, it says 80/120 mm, which are oval or circular bases. Or should the base be rectangular instead? I’m not very familiar with the rules yet, I just love the setting lol.

Team Initiative

In a 2v2 game, does your team go (both players) then my team (both players), or alternate 1 player from your team then 1 player from my team, so on...

Idk the best way to word that. I couldn't find an answer in any of the rules/expansions.

Thanks.

Sir Robin of Shellwood

Either a Stump Gun or Snail Knight in Range. Made him a while ago but he was way to plain so i added shitload of stuff in alcohol driven kitbash frenzy and there we are. Just need some nice swampy base and he's good to go. Nothing too fancy but i think it fits the Vibe. Also i have no idea where do bits come from. Helmet is modified from i believe some perry miniatures kits, body is something from Northstar i believe and no idea about the bow.

Pocket turnip

Im going to see some friends this weekend and I want to show them Turnip28 but we wont have space for a full game board, so decided to make a tiny version. A coffee table turnip, turnip28: pocket edition, baby carrot28. All cut out of scraps of fleece I had from other craft projects.

Alice and Mol WIP 2

As I said last time: "I will be bäck" (with a pronounced German accent)...and indeed I have been back with some more WIP news! And not normal photos, nonono, but a full fledged video (shocked myself with my incredible new digital skill 😝)!

Work continues (I miss Mol gorget...I think that's the name...) but I'm feeling it's better than last time!

Enjoy! (I hope....)

P.s. a couple of images in the comments...I couldn't post both

Just started the giant project

I had a leftover from my Warhammer Bretonia army as I was not happy with the giants size. Another day I was browsing my bits and pile of shame just to strumble over this little friend. Couple of thoughts later I decided to use him for my Turnip Teutonic Prussians Order as Monster.

My Scabz ship base

Hi folks. I've made a bit of a fancy base for my Scabz ship. The ship is removable for gameplay. I know the oily sea isn't as oily as it should be but I wanted something that made sense to non-turnip folk lol.

Alice and Mol wip

Hi everyone! Always liked the look of Alice and Mol artworks, so I'm trying to create a miniature for them, but I'm not quite sure with the head. What's the most appropriate one, for you?

111th Kessian Vesps begin their march

Somewhere on the eastern side Cist lies a settlement known as Kess. A settlement of no renown except maybe that, despite all evidence, the citizens insist that it marks the very center of the continent.

From this settlement hails a kind of wasp-like humanoids that refer to themselves as Vesps. They are led by toff "queen" LIV Vespula. When questioned about her the Vesps claim that the title is implicit, undisputed and implicitly undisputed. They also claim that she has always led them. In truth they may have lost count at number 54. Using a breed of giant crustaceans as mounts and beasts of burden, they set out on long marches looking for a mythical "fruit of knowledge".

So far these expeditions have not yielded any results except to be a nuisance to other regiments they encounter.

"The Turnipmans Working Club Dart Team" - My chaff for my pubcrawler list

Some chaff armed with missile weapons ready to throw down with anyone who wants them to sober up long enough to have a hangover.

Just one more unit to go once this is done!

The Fodder Conga Line for my Wandering Morris list is done!

Thanks for the feedback on the WIP. I've magnetised the base and made some blood splatters to represent their gory ends.

I never want to magnetise again.....

How hard would it be to achieve such skin for someone new to the hobby?

Basically the question above! I've been thinking about making a swill-themed army, especially when seeing these minis. However, I'm a bit concerned that achieving such a paint job (especially skin, though the rest too) might be rather difficult. What do more experienced painters think?

Hey

Hi all. I am new here - I do have a few questions having read most of the rules, but I think I might leave it for another day. Anybody here from France? Seems like a cool game :)

And he is done! The General. My newest Lump

After finding a puffball that his subordinates were convinced looked like their recently deceased leader, General Bovista (it has his eyes and everything!) they hoisted it up onto an effigy and adorned it in tribute with their gallant General’s medals and now undersized hat. General Bovista now lives on, spreading his spores throughout Cist for all to see.

So yes, the Lump I posted last week based on some rulebook artwork is now done. Now you can see all the details of what I was shooting for and how I solved the hand problem by literally nailing some to the crossbeam. C&C welcome as always.
