Names Stacia/Stacy started doing this whole live streaming to find friends! I mostly stream Marvel (though I suck) and Diablo but whatever I am usually playing too, I join this subreddit for help:

I don’t have a webcam right now but I am considering getting one. Would adding a webcam to my stream make it more enjoyable/draw more people in?
And it wasn't just my hard work that did it, it was the fans and viewers that showed up and gave me support that helped out, this gives me reassurance that I made the right choice on this as my hobby!
Doing a soft session on my first playthrough let's connect community as always come introduce yourselves and I follow back.
This lets me hear/talk in game, capture the game audio with voice chat, and mute my mic in game. but i have to use a separate microphone to talk for my stream, and I cannot hear my computer audio. I am hoping to get a setup more like this, but don't know what the central audio device would be.
I want to eliminate the headset mic while still being able to mute my mic in game using the button on the controller, and i need to be able to hear the audio from both the xbox and the computer in my IEM's so i can hear alerts without having them play through speakers and be picked up on the mic.
any advice on what that "AUDIO HUB" device would be? I was looking at GOXLR but i found that the software is not going to be supported anymore so afraid to invest in one if it wont work forever.
I am looking to start streaming on twitch, and I want to stream board game content, but I have no idea how to set up anything that I would like. Some help would be appreciated!
The list of things I’d like:
- a main camera that records the board
-second camera that records my face with a green screen background, so it’s only my face
-third camera that is pointed at a green screen as well, so I can put items in front of it and they show up in front of the main screen.
-toggleable waiting screen for before the stream and during breaks
For examples of this set up, please see the attached video of a streamer who has this exact set up.
He has a beginning waiting screen for before the stream, and a toggleable break screen that can be turned on when he takes a break in recording.
He’s also able to record the board, his face, and has a third camera that he puts cards in front of so they’re bigger on screen.

Again, any advice on how to get this set up would be amazing! Thank you again for your time and emotional effort in helping me out :)

Hello, I have dabbled in streaming in past but work seemed to get in the way and having two kids I just didn't find time to commit to it. Now being in the unfortunate state of being made redundant I want to give it a go again. My question is:
I want to do gaming on my channel but not sure where to start, Do I:
- Drop some money on a new game that will maybe bring more attention
- Play a game from my library already I haven't played (some assassin's creed spring to mind but basically an older game that I'll enjoy)
Or any other suggestion would be useful and any general tips on starting up are welcome
Thanks
I currently feel my stream content is lacking: it's just basic gameplay, and understandably it doesn't attract many viewers. The ones that have shown up have been awesome, but they don't tend to stay around. I want to improve my stream, but being energetic/vocal and coming up with good ideas is, I think, my current biggest weakness. I'm sure I'm not the first person to encounter this issue, and I was curious if anyone has any tips on how to handle this. I do have some ideas that simply don't function without viewers to interact with, and one actually decent idea I plan to recycle sometime because I never finished it (fighting Elden Ring bosses using only voice commands, fun but painful), but I want to save it for when I'm at my best.
Tldr: I don't think there's an easy solution to this challenge but I want to see if I'm wrong. I'm new to this whole thing so I like to see if someone more experience has been in my position before.
