Hi all,

I'm looking to start MS applications later this year. I'm pre-med so I want it to flow with my story. My undergrad GPA wasn't superb (3.5) and while I know graduate GPA isn't equated/looked at the same as undergrad, the point is to prove I can succeed in school (long story short I'm now medicated!!)

Has anyone done the 11-month SMP here or the MSMBS? For the latter, would the thesis or non-thesis track be better? For the former, do a good number of students actually go on to med school? Any other recommendations are also welcome. Thanks!

Hi all- I’m looking for anyone who may have been a witness or drove by the ramp from US 31 to 20/59 East on Saturday, between 1200-1230.

I have a friend who fatally wrecked a motorcycle on that ramp Saturday in that timeframe, on a white bike. He was in full protective gear with a backpack. No one has provided any information on the wreck, and the circumstances around it have left a lot of questions.

Just wondering if anyone saw anything, witnessed anything, saw the bike, literally anything. Thank you.

I’m having a hard time getting a hold of the transportation office. The phone number goes to voicemail and it says the mailbox is full.

I am out of state, so I can’t just go over there. Does anybody have any tips on getting a hold of someone?

So, students living on campus are only allowed to buy permits for Zones A and H, right? Because I forgot about buying the permits so now they're completely sold out and the waiting list is huge. I was just gonna buy a commuter permit, but it says that "you're housing status will be verified". Idk why they won't let me a buy a slot though, I have to park somewhere and idk what I'm gonna do. So, does anyone know places to park around campus? I dont mind a walk.

Starting a job at the Birmingham VA soon, curious what the parking situation is like and how reliable the shuttle is to get to the medical center? How much extra time should I give myself to get to that building, etc.. tyia!

Hi everyone! I am a UAB student but I'm taking a class at another institution as a transient student because its closer to home. Was just curious if anyone knows when the refund hits since I'll be using it to pay for this other class as well. Thanks!
