😐

😐

This was a really fun and completely balanced match. That was sarcasm btw. Everytime you see that long ranger icon you know your in for a shit show. 😐 While aspects of the game have improved the long ranger is still completely broken and it just gets abused constantly. This dude had five long rangers 🤦🫠😂

Player Attributes

How much do player attributes matter? Has anyone done any actual testing of things like speed, shooting, passing (ie. Not anecdotal) side by side comparison?

Also is player ID a thing like in efootball? (Eg. A tall lower rated goalkeeper will be better than a short higher rated one, etc)

Another month without a fix for the trophies/achievements.

As a new month begins, there is clearly no focus on resolving the issue of unobtainable trophies and achievements; please, the community of trophy and achievement hunters deserves to be heard as well.

The Devs are lacking a brain

It is that hard to have a balanced game that isn't so shitty

I just lost 7-0 to a guy with a 70 rated team

My defending ai has completely gone brain-dead and refuses to do anything, my keeper is completely stuck and can't move

A 70 rated striker with 60 pace outruns my Nuno mendes

And then sends a shot that's more like a low power pass, and my genius keeper lets it roll into goal instead of grabbing the ball

The Devs are either genuinely Babbling idiots or they are so underpaid and already realise the game is dying that it's pointless to do bug fixes

Unfair game

I sort of already gave up on the game. I am one of the beta testers, but I just got tired of it. Anyway, I won’t play EA then. When I play some football, I stick with UFL, but I am not grinding like I was before. I used to be platinum, but so far I have 28 games this season (26 wins and 2 losses). So, I played against a guy with more losses than wins, like 50 losses and 25 wins. I knew from the beginning the game would make me lose because I had this double winning points. My team was not performing as it usually does, it felt super heavy, many shots and no goal, while for the other guy every single shot was a goal. This game is still not offering fair play. So disappointing.

"Have I ever told you the definition of insanity"

Little experiment I tried last night. Since it's quite usual for passes to go in a different direction from the stick or directly to the feet of opponent. I decided to try pointing the stick away from my intended team player or towards the opponent player approaching him to mark. Lo and behold about 3 out of 5 times the ball goes to my player's feet. Then instead of pressing tackle when near opponent ( which would usually result in ball bouncing back to opponent's feet if tackle was successful) I let go of stick and didn't press any button. This resulted in my player auto tackling and winning the ball. Somebody, please make it make sense!

Today’s Update… 💤

Turns game on, same content nothing exciting. Same no chance of messing with packs or player swaps as you HAVE TO SPEND MONEY Same challenges, same gameplay. Played 2 games conceded 5 40yard goals from Horta and Okocha. Teams then passed around the back. Impossible to get the ball back. Same poor build up play almost arcade like. They have 💯give up on the production of this game. Im getting out of it now. Put too much time in and its no longer enjoyable. Wish you all the best though. Im the next man to ride off into the sunset 🌅

Thinking of playing UFL since it's free

I am tired of raging in fc 26. I dont want to pay ps plus anymore so I want to find a free online soccer game.

How's the learning curve of UFL for a regular clubs, seasons, and manager career player in fc 26?

Is UFL fine to jump into and grind or will my team be too trash for a while?

When will we get a new gameplay patch?

Literally how are you supposed to score a header? People are using 41212 formation and stack in the middle and there is no counter play. What are you supposed to do with dumb attacking AI and defensive AI on steroids??? Player instructions are busted for 2 months already, can we fix them???

The addiction frustration…

I know i post alot of negativity around the game and its only cos im a day 1 player really wanting it to succeed. As a pay2win player who always loses im sure i deserve to give Devs a hard time 😁🤪

Something i need help with is i have an addictive personality like many and i absolutely grind the daily tasks or surge to ensure i finish the season on maximum points. This week from today im away on holiday so therefore i cant complete the daily tasks meaning ill miss out on not only SP for 3 days straight but 3 days of trophy coins from the footy fest daily challenges. I really struggle to understand why why want us to complete theses daily and knowing not many people can do this the forfeit is having to pay to complete stuff. My personally doesn’t like this and would like other peoples views. Should i take less care in trying to complete every single day or just avoid getting involved in that part of the game completely to avoid the disappointment knowing i cant finish all the tasks. Its just all a little too much. Forcing people to play every day makes people become bored/frustrated and stressed to the point you think giving up on it is the more sensible option than trying to finish each daily challenge

I contacted UFL Support about hidden gameplay mechanics. Can we get an official clarification?

I have a problem with the Squad Swap player Martinez promotion. Suggestion for change

I have a problem with the Squad Swap player Martinez promotion.

I completed the Martinez challenge up to Level 5, but I can't continue because I no longer have the 87-rated grey Martinez, which is also required for the next two stages.

It's possible that I used him in one of the earlier stages, or the only way to get him back is by pulling him from packs. The second option is practically impossible. I have seven other versions of Martinez, but the game only accepts the grey one.

My suggestion:

Please make Squad Swap exchange stages 1–4 repeatable an unlimited number of times instead of one-time only.

Support wasn't able to help me with this issue. UFL, please consider making this change. You're losing players because many people won't continue these challenges or spend 100 LP on exchanges if they get permanently stuck like this.

Asian server player count

Genuine question??? How many players play this game?? I struggle to find opponents, average 5-8 mins before I find an opponent and just looked at my record and I’ve been playing the same pool of 16 players

This is so unbelievably egregious its ruining almost every game for me

I've posted about this once already but why is the back line non-existent with friendly defenders borderline aiding the other team by keeping their players on-side? It's causing me to concede almost every game and its such a glaring issue its actually bat shit insane. I can't do anything about it, there's not even a manual off-side trap and its just anti-fun. Does no one else notice this fucking every single game up?

bear in mind its WHOLLY Ai controlled in this image, I was using the mid player closest to the passer. The game is literally sabotaging constantly and it's out of my hands

UFL Mobile - What’s next?

Hey guys, I know that UFL Mobile is a different game than the console version, but I kinda like how and where it started. Are their any news or quotes from the publisher, how the roadmap for the Mobile version looks like, as it is still in soft launch state? Will there be more players, more icons (right now they started with Roberto Carlos) and does they seem committed to the Mobile version? Or is it more of an experiment?

Reached Ruby 2 in 1.5 Months: Chemistry Question + Honest UFL Gameplay Thoughts

First off, much respect to everyone in the UFL community..

I started playing UFL for the first time about 1.5 months ago, and I’m currently a Ruby 2 player. I played FIFA for many years, but after it became FC, I gradually started losing interest and eventually moved away from the game.

I had never really given eFootball, or any other football game outside FIFA/FC, a proper chance. So UFL became the first real alternative football game I seriously tried after leaving FC.

Honestly, UFL gave me that childhood football game feeling again. There is something nostalgic about it. Despite its flaws, bugs and areas that clearly need improvement, I still find the game really enjoyable. I think there is a very good football game at its core.

However, because the player base is not huge and some mechanics are not explained clearly enough, there are still a few things that feel unclear. Chemistry is one of them.

Let me give an example from my own team. I normally play 4-1-2-1-2, and as you can see in the screenshot, Raphinha is off-chemistry in that setup.

So here is what I’m wondering:

If I set my starting formation as 4-3-3 before the match, play Ronaldo as LW and Raphinha as RW so everyone gets their chemistry boosts, then switch in-game to my actual 4-1-2-1-2 setup using my attacking preset — do I keep those chemistry boosts, or do I lose them once I switch formation in-game?

In other words, are chemistry boosts locked in at kickoff, or do in-game tactical and position changes affect chemistry?

I couldn’t find any clear information about this. If anyone knows exactly how it works, I’d really appreciate an explanation.

As for the gameplay itself, I definitely think squad quality matters. But I don’t think it is the only deciding factor. In my opinion, UFL is a game where good players can still be rewarded for playing well. There are moments where momentum feels noticeable, but compared to FC, it feels nowhere near as dominant to me.

I also think using wingers effectively is very difficult in this game. Sometimes the striker and midfield feel as far away from the wingers as east is from west. Because of that, passing is extremely important. In my opinion, the two best ways to break down opponents are quick short passing combinations and well-timed long shots from the right angles.

Dribbling also feels quite difficult to me. The game seems to reward smart passing, patience and creating the right shooting angle more than simply relying on individual skill moves.

I’m curious about your thoughts as well. What formation do you use? What does your team look like? And what do you think about the current state and future of UFL?

Please share your teams, tactics and thoughts about the game..

MESSAGE TO STRIKERZ TEAM!

Dear Strikerz,

Please don’t listen to the people here who spend all day on the game but still don’t know how to play properly. They rely on long shots with that perk because they can’t score any other way. This update is very good.

The passing feels good now—much better than it was in the previous update. Please don’t change it again. The passing is finally working well, and if you touch it again, you’ll probably ruin it. Don’t listen to the people on this forum. Half of them can’t actually play the game. Now that passing has been fixed, they’re getting destroyed, and the only thing they can do is score one or two long-range goals. Even then, they still lose 7–2.

AI defending is also weaker than it was in the previous update, where those players could simply sit back and let the AI do all the defending. They can’t rely on that anymore, which is why they’re getting beaten again. Please leave AI defending as it is. If anything, you could make it slightly weaker, but if you don’t want to because of all the complaints from those players, I understand. Just don’t make it stronger again.

The positioning of attacking players is also much better than it was in the last update.

The only thing that still needs improvement is the goalkeeper. Sometimes the goalkeeper still punches or parries the ball straight back into the opponent’s path. Please improve the GK so that when saving a powerful shot, the ball is pushed farther away toward the touchline or out for a corner. That would prevent the rebound exploit.

Right now, many weaker players abuse this exploit. They first try long shots, and if they can’t score directly, they simply wait for the goalkeeper to parry the ball right back to them. Since the goalkeeper is still stuck in the diving animation, he has no chance to make a second save, leaving the goal wide open for an easy tap-in. If you improve goalkeeper parries so the ball is cleared safely toward the sidelines or out for a corner, it will stop another exploit that these players depend on because they struggle to score any other way.

So please, Strikerz, stop listening to the biggest exploiters in the game. They want to ruin your game. I could list them all by their nicknames, but there’s no need—they’ll expose themselves anyway!

Best regards, Strikerz. This update has genuinely improved the game, so don’t give up. The game has huge potential. You just need to avoid listening to exploiters and players who only want mechanics that benefit their exploits. I truly believe UFL can become the best football game on the market.

One final piece of advice: don’t focus solely on microtransactions. If monetization becomes the priority over gameplay, it will only hurt the game in the long run.

Keep up the good work, and best of luck.
