Belgian single permit processing time for Ghent Uni postdoc

Hi everyone! I’m an Indian researcher joining Ghent University as a postdoc. My university’s ODIS office confirmed that my Single Permit application was officially submitted on 18 August 2026.
The process is now with the Belgian authorities: admissibility → work approval → Annex 46 (residence approval). ODIS mentions a general processing time of 10–120 days.
For anyone who recently went through the Single Permit process in Flanders, especially as a researcher/postdoc:

  1. How long did it take from submission to Annex 46?
  2. What were your submission and approval dates?

I’d really appreciate any recent experiences, as I’m trying to estimate when I can realistically travel to Ghent. Thanks!

How to reach from Upkot wing to campus coupre

Hello, I am going to start my masters in food technology and I am allotted a room in residence upkot wing at Pauline van Pottelsberghelaan 30 , 9051 Gent. As campus coupre looks very far from here I'm tad concerned about whether travelling will be manageable or not. What are the simplest ways to reach campus from my housing every morning?
