Fuse Energy Referral Code - Live July 2026 - JOSHUA27409

Fuse Energy Referral Code - Live July 2026 - JOSHUA27409

Hey guys

I finally made the decision to move away from Octopus Energy after about 5 years. They were good but their prices were creeping up and up. I searched for the best company with the best deal out there and Fuse Energy looked like the best choice. So far so good, the switch was done in just a couple of days and I am now paying a chunk less on their latest tariff, locked in for 13 months. Really nice to know the prices rises won't bother me now.

The website and app are really easy to use, very impressed. You also only pay for the energy you have actually used. They produce you a monthly bill and you just pay that, rather than building up tons of credit.

If you fancy joining, we can both benefit and get £50 towards our bills if you use my referral code JOSHUA27409. Simply enter it when you sign up here.

Any questions, just ask 😄

Cheers!

UK Energy Price Tracker — w/c 6 July 2026 | New price cap rates, cheapest deals & switching tips

The price cap this quarter: £1,862/year for a typical direct-debit dual-fuel household (Ofgem, 1 Jul–30 Sep 2026). That's up 13% (~£221/yr) on the April cap — gas unit rates rose ~24%, electricity ~5%, driven by a 28% jump in wholesale gas over the past three months.

Supplier Elec (p/kWh) Gas (p/kWh) Elec SC (p/day) Gas SC (p/day)
Price cap (max) 26.11 7.33 57.19 29.04
Octopus Flexible tracks cap (~26.11) tracks cap (~7.33) ~cap ~cap
EDF standard variable ~cap ~cap ~cap ~cap
Fuse Energy below cap below cap below-average SC below-average SC

Fuse runs a variable tariff that tracks a few % under the cap plus lower-than-average standing charges, and fixed deals that sit below the cap. Exact rates vary by region and payment method — enter your postcode on each supplier's site for a personal quote.

This week in UK energy:

  • The new July–September price cap took effect on 1 July: £1,862/year for typical use. Gas is doing most of the damage (~24% up); electricity only ~5%.
  • Cornwall Insight is forecasting the October cap at roughly £1,899 — another ~£37/year rise — but that's a forecast, not confirmed. Ofgem announces the real figure by 26 August.
  • Around 40% of accounts (~22 million) are on fixed tariffs and aren't affected by this rise. If you're on a Standard Variable Tariff, you're paying the cap.

Switching tips:

  • Switching takes ~3 working days and you never lose supply.
  • Smart meters transfer with you in most cases.
  • On a fixed deal? Check your exit fee before switching (typically £50–75 per fuel).
  • The cap only applies to Standard Variable Tariffs — a good fixed or below-cap variable deal can beat it.
  • With another cap rise forecast for October, locking in a below-cap deal now is worth a look.

Disclosure: I'm a Fuse Energy customer and this post includes a referral code. Code WTWQYD61982 gets us both £25 per fuel (£50 for gas + electricity) if you switch. Non-referral link: fuseenergy.com

The 13% energy price cap increase is now live. Here is how to beat it (Code: OYVURI69346)

Hi everyone,
The Ofgem energy price cap officially increased by 13% on 1 July 2026. For a typical household paying by direct debit, this means average annual bills have just jumped to £1,862.
If you are on a standard variable tariff with one of the legacy suppliers, your direct debit is likely about to increase. Specifically, electricity is now capped at an average of 26.11p per kWh and gas at 7.33p per kWh.
I switched to Fuse Energy a while ago because they are consistently cheaper than the cap and run a very lean, app based model. Right now, they even have a 13 month fixed tariff that works out around 17.2% cheaper than the new July price cap.
They also have a referral promotion running until 19 July where they give you guaranteed account credit for switching to them.
You get a £25 credit for switching one supply, like just your electricity.
You get a £50 credit for switching two supplies, such as electricity and gas.
You get a £75 credit for three supplies, which includes electricity, gas, and solar export.
How to claim the credit:

  1. Download the Fuse Energy app or visit their website directly. You cannot sign up through a price comparison site for this offer.
  2. Start a quote and enter the referral code OYVURI69346 when prompted on the sign up screen.
  3. Complete the switch. They handle all the admin of leaving your old supplier automatically.
  4. Your credit will be applied directly to your account once your switch completes and you pay your first full bill.
Take a few minutes this weekend to run a quote and see how much you can save. Thanks to anyone who uses my code!

Fuse Energy - opinions

Just joined fuse energy, found them to be 16% cheaper than octopus which I thought was wild. So far they seem great. Had a few teething issues with my meter but they sorted it via agent on chat super easy.

Seem really good. What’s everyone else think who’s been there for longer?

Fuse Referral Code July 2026 (£50 Credit) – HARRISON17396 | A Small Reddit Experiment

I have a suspicion that nobody actually chooses a referral code.

People just Google one, click the first result, and carry on with their day.

To test this theory, I’m entering my code into the arena:
HARRISON17396

I recently moved into a new flat and switched to Fuse after it came out cheapest for me on Uswitch. The referral credit was a nice bonus, so if you’re signing up anyway, feel free to use it.

If someone uses the code, I’ll have proof that at least one person made it past the title and read this far.
If not, I’ll assume we’re all just shouting referral codes into the internet and hoping for the best. 😄

I switched to Fuse Energy 3 months ago. Here's the good, the bad, and whether I'd actually recommend it!

I see loads of referral posts on here, so I thought I'd do something slightly different and give an honest review from someone who actually uses the service.

I switched to Fuse around 3 months ago after comparing a few suppliers.

The good

  1. The app is genuinely one of the better energy apps I've used

  2. Direct Debits can be adjusted without jumping through hoops

  3. Usage data is easy to understand

  4. Support has been quick whenever I've needed them

  5. Prices have remained competitive

The bad

  1. They're not as well known as Octopus, British Gas etc

  2. Some parts of the app still feel a bit basic

  3. The website isn't always the easiest place to find information

Would I recommend them?

Honestly, yes.

Energy suppliers aren't exactly exciting, but they've been one of those companies that just quietly does what it's supposed to do.

No billing drama. No endless phone queues. No mysterious charges.

Which is probably the highest compliment I can give an energy supplier.

If anyone has questions about Fuse, switching process, billing, smart meters, customer service, or anything else, ask away and I'll answer as honestly as I can.

And if you decide you'd like to join, feel free to use my referral code:

TIM64158

You and I both get £25 per fuel once you've paid your first bill, so up to £50 each if you switch gas and electricity.

Even if you don't use the code, hopefully the review helps someone.

The 13% July Price Cap Hike is Live Today: Audit Your Energy Bills with Fuse (Code: OYVURI69346)

The Macro Reality (1 July 2026 Update):
The warning period is over. As of today, the Ofgem energy price cap has officially increased by 13%. For a typical household paying by direct debit, this pushes the average annual bill up to £1,862. If you are sitting on a default standard variable tariff with a legacy supplier, your unit rates have just spiked.
Treating your personal finances like a business means you do not accept passive cost increases. You audit your fixed costs and migrate to a more efficient provider.
The Arbitrage: Fuse Energy
To protect your household budget, you need to step away from the legacy giants. I use Fuse Energy. Because they operate a lean and digital first model, they structurally undercut the major UK suppliers on both daily standing charges and unit rates.
The ROI (Guaranteed £25 to £75):
Fuse is currently running a customer acquisition campaign offering guaranteed cash for anyone switching before 19 July.
If you switch using an active referral code, you receive guaranteed account credit:
£25 for switching one supply (for example, just electricity).
£50 for switching two supplies (electricity and gas).
£75 for switching three supplies (electricity, gas, and solar export).
Execution (Takes under 3 minutes):
Financial optimisation does not require hours of admin. You can execute this switch right now from your phone to immediately counter today's price hike.

  1. Get the App: Search for the Fuse Energy app or visit their website to start a quote. You must sign up directly and not via a price comparison site to qualify.
  2. Lock in the Bonus: During the final sign up screen, it will specifically ask for a referral code. You must enter this exact active code: OYVURI69346
  3. The Switch: Fuse handles the entire transition automatically. Your power stays on, and there are no awkward cancellation phone calls required.
  4. Get Paid: Once your switch completes and your first bill is paid, your guaranteed credit is applied directly to your account.
Do not pay the lazy tax to legacy providers starting today. Copy the code OYVURI69346, run a quick quote, and lock in the cheapest rates on the market.

Fuse referral code

Sharing my referral code with an unbiased (early) review and recommendation.

Code - SHARAD83708

Fuse was the cheapest supplier on the comparison sites. I was skeptical of the app based support but having interacted with Fuse over the app during the switch process, two things stand out -

  1. Their use of AI integration for support is brilliant.

  2. For anything that AI can't handle, the human support is prompt and sufficient.

I couldn't switch my gas tariff to Fuse initially as the app doesn't show the option for gas. That was because of an issue with address/meter number mismatches in the national database. If you hit this problem, search for your property using the meter number in the app. Meter number is on your last bill.

My referral code below (created 26/06/2026) and valid until 20/07/2026.

SHARAD83708

Please use this code and sign up to get £50 bonus. You and I both benefit from it.

The Fuse Referral Paradox: Final Results (Science was wrong)

Twenty two days ago I posted my Fuse Energy referral code as a bit of a joke.

The idea was simple:

"Does anyone actually use these codes, or are we all just posting them for other people posting referral codes?"

I honestly expected absolutely nothing to happen.

Instead, over the past three weeks the post has turned into an accidental science experiment.

Results so far:

📊 1,800+ people viewed the post

💬 Nearly 40 comments

🎉 3 successful referrals

💷 £75 earned so far (£25 each)

The conclusion?

It turns out actual customers do occasionally wander through the referral wilderness.

My original hypothesis has therefore been formally rejected.

Specimen under observation: TIM64158

Future researchers are encouraged to repeat this experiment using their own referral codes.

Please publish your findings below.

Peer review is welcomed.

"This study has not yet been published in a reputable journal, mainly because nobody would take it seriously."

Axle Energy VPP – £25 Sign-Up Bonus + My First Session Results (£2/kWh!)

Just wanted to share my experience after joining Axle Energy, the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program that works with compatible home batteries + solar systems here in the UK.

When you sign up through a referral link you get a £25 bonus, and after that Axle pays you for exporting energy to support the grid during their scheduled sessions.

Referral Link - https://vpp.axle.energy/landing?ref=R-LNXNXEGN

Non referral link - https://vpp.axle.energy/landing

I’ve just completed my most recent session and exported 4.3 kWh. Because they’re currently running an introductory rate, I got £2 per kWh — so £8.60 for a single event. The usual rate is still a decent £1 per kWh, but this boosted intro rate is a nice sweetener!

If you’ve already got a solar/battery setup, it’s basically free money for helping stabilise the grid. Happy to answer questions if anyone’s curious about how it works or whether your system is compatible.

Beat the 13% July price cap hike and get up to £75 guaranteed credit with Fuse Energy (Code: OYVURI69346)

Hi everyone,
The Ofgem price cap is officially going up by 13% on 1 July 2026. This brings the average annual bill to £1,862. If you are on a standard variable tariff with a legacy supplier, your unit rates are going to increase in just a few days.
I moved my energy over to Fuse Energy because they consistently undercut the main price cap, and their app makes managing bills incredibly straightforward.
They just launched a brand new referral programme on 25 June 2026. They have scrapped the old random turbine spin. Instead, you are now guaranteed a fixed £25 reward per supply:
You get £25 for one supply (e.g. electricity or gas).
You get £50 for two supplies (e.g. electricity and gas).
You get £75 for three supplies (e.g. electricity, gas, and solar export).
How to claim the credit:

  1. Download the Fuse Energy app or visit their website directly.
  2. Start a quote and enter the referral code OYVURI69346 when asked. (Note that you must sign up directly and not through a price comparison website, or the code will not work).
  3. Complete the switch. They handle the transition from your old supplier automatically.
  4. Your credit will be pending until you pay your first full bill, at which point it gets applied to your account.
It is definitely worth taking a few minutes this weekend to lock in a cheaper rate before the new cap hits on Wednesday. Thanks so much to anyone who uses my code!

Fuse energy referral code

Here's my fuse energy referral code BROOK77280 valid until 20th July, would be so happy if you would use it! 😊

I switched a couple of months ago, so far very happy. The switch was easy and energy cheaper than octopus. The only potential downside is paying the amount used each month instead of balancing direct debits across the year, so you will feel the payments increasing in winter.
